Spent a total of 32 days at the facility while rotating from one division to the next including hatchery, layer farms, broiler farms, and the feed mill.

o Sterilization of Lab materials and preparation of culture media.
o Bacterial and Fungal Culture (Seeding and isolation)
o Viral Propagation in Chicken embroynated eggs.
* Animal Feed Stuff Analysis
o Proximate analysis: crude protein, crude fat, moisture, crude fiber,
and total minerals.
* Involved in in-vivo experiment to evaluate natural products in control of
economic poultry diseases entitled: “Interaction of Mentofin/Modified Mentofin/Newcastle and Coccidiosis.”
o Disinfection and preparation of animal rooms
o Allocation of experimental animals into different treatments
o Birds vaccination
o Birds management
o Data collection (signs observation, feed and bird weighing)
o Data entry
