• Installation, start-up, commissioning, configuration, trouble shooting and repairing of SCADA, RTUs, FlowComputers and all associated equipment.
• Installing mounting hardware, process instrumentation and valves/chokes, wiring, cable-trays, junction boxes, flow meters/tubes/computers, solar panels/batteries, and radio/cellular communications equipment at many different sites and facilities.
• Analyzing requirements for field installation, scheduling and coordinating work with customers and other contractors.
• Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and new comers and provide hands-on training.
• Job preparation of required documents, material and tools.
• Ensuring that all work performed on site is done in compliance to the HSSE and the customer safety regulations, and ensuring safe working conditions.
• Providing Sales support activities by conducting presentations on different types of equipment.
• Preparation of projects time plan, fellow up work progress, report to management on all achievements.
• Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of Oil & Gas Flow Metering Skids and associated equipment such as MOVs, Transmitters, Pumps, PLC and HMI.
• Ensuring that equipment work according to specification, making improvements to and offering advice about operational procedures, Proving and Verification.
• Liaising with installation/project engineers and conducting site surveys to keep an updated accurate work progress report.
• Investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults.
• Ensuring safe working conditions, scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines.
• Training maintenance and operation staff upon client request.
• Provide on call maintenance services and checking.
• Follow up logistic issues and providing long time technical support.
• Manage and maintain cellular network’s monitoring system (Report on the status and performance of the network).
• Fault handling and escalation (identifying and responding to faults in the network, coordinating with roll-out teams, liaising with 3rd party suppliers and subcontractors).
• Server build and installation, application upgrade, network equipment build and installation.
• Maintaining hardware serial audit.
• Facilities maintenance (monitoring and management of air-conditioning, UPS, generators, power usage, running health and safety and housekeeping checks) at the switch-site.
• Facilities installation (installing racks, setting up power, installing Ethernet, Fiber, Coaxial and console cabling).
• Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration.
• Participate in a 24x7 call-out rotation if required.
Attending Classes of different specialty such as; Electrical Power, Machines, Telecommunications and electronics, and Computers, as well as preparing multiple assignments and projects whether as a team-member or an individual.
