Salini Impregilo is an international group specializing in the construction of major public works. A top player in the sector, it places first in the ENR ranking for infrastructure projects.
Active in more than 50 countries, it has been involved in the construction of some of the most complex and innovative infrastructure projects. Impregilo Arabia was established as a JV company in 2008 with a base office in Jeddah, where I was operating.
With an eye on the infrastructure Sector in Saudi Arabia we have put on a Business plan and a Marketing Strategy to enter this sector and mainly the Railway Sector, Thanks to my strong relationship skills, individualized approach and passion for the organization, I have made sure that the company had in a short period of time become a key role player in the infrastructure sector in Saudi Arabia, resulting in winning the first project for Salini Impregilo in the railway sector, in KSA, The Riyadh Metro Project - Line 3 with a value of 5.9 Billion USD.
I also managed to:
 Follow up on Bids announcement whether public or private and relay it to the Management. Prepare spreadsheets & presentations highlighting upcoming opportunities. Track competitors’ activities in the region, develop strategic alliances with local partners with the objective to strengthen the company’s chances of pre-qualifying and succeeding in winning new contracts.
 I have Determined external consultants, prepared requests for proposals and evaluated proposal responses;
Presented recommendations to the Board for approval on project proposal and budget.
 Attended and participated in related meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
 Met with Designers, Project & Program management firms on a regular basis.
 Worked on the Prequalification and bidding for Power Plant Projects, Residential Towers, Water and Tunneling projects, following are some of the Projects:

• Track Works for SAR - CTW 110 valued 815 MSR

 In July 2010, I was entrusted to oversee the Administration, HR, Logistics and Payroll.
 I have developed a data base of new tenders, opportunities and clients within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and ensured that the company is registered / pre-qualified with the related authorities, during 2009 we have succeeded to enter into partnerships and bid for the following projects:

 Board Member / Chairman of the Hotel Etoile Suites in Beirut from 1995 - 2010 and 2015 till present.
 Running Hotel operations, deals with GDS, IDS, Worldwide Travel Agents, Oil Companies, Governmental
Institutions, setting Seminars, and catering for over 2000 guests in one year.
 Developing projects in the Civil & Hospitality sector, from defining the project approach, indentify the resources required, prepared RFPs, appointing consultants, conducting due diligence, and awarding sub-contracting packages to different bidders.

 Worked on acquiring Shuweihat S1 (Abu Dhabi), and other projects in the UK and the USA.

RAS AZZAWR IWPP, Shuweihat S2.
 Determining external consultants prepare requests for proposals and evaluate proposal responses; present recommendations to the Board for approval on project proposal and budget.
 Conducting due diligence for the project proposal; assign resources and staff; conduct feasibility studies on commercial and technical aspects; prepare recommendations for senior management.
 Monitoring and overseeing progress of project, including personal responsibilities; provide guidance to team members to ensure timely and effective project execution.
 Establishing and managing relationships with key external parties
 Forming Joint Venture companies and Special Purpose Vehicle companies.
 Dealing with Consultants like Roland Berger, Booz Allen Hamilton, Fitchner, Allen & Overy, Fairfax, and many more.
 Developing corporate identity, Website and Brochure for the company.

 Our main scope of work were Offshore Operations and Steel Structural Projects, Warehouses, Storage tanks, Barge construction and repair, to various clients as Shell, Total, Agip, Exxon Mobil, Prodeco, and StoltOffshore.
 Managing offshore operations like Diesel trading, Pipeline Transportation, and Logistic Support for Rigs and Floating Equipments. SBM repair, Dredging Operations, Land development.
 Manages and coordinates construction activities. Interfaces as required with other Project teams including design, procurement, logistics, HR, Project Control.
 Liaises with the customer, partners of a consortium and joint venture, local bodies and authorities, acting as site company representative.
 Supervises sub-contracted construction and installation works and in particular, monitors the reliability of local companies. Checks the availability of local construction materials and labor.

Interface Manager/ Operations Control Manager
When I joined the company I was in charge of the coordination between Stolt offshore and ADAMAC on OGGS project, a 400km of Gas pipeline for SPDC (SHELL) mainly the interfaces in NLNG plant with the engineering drawings, and the fabrication on site. The interfaces covered were pertaining to the commissioning works of the full OGGS system which was installed by different parties and different entity spreads.
As soon as we started the offshore operations, I was promoted to OCM in charge of the control of all Logistic operations, which covered the following activities:

 Logistics and Warehousing activities in Onne Port.
 Tracing all vessels and barges coming into Nigeria
 Setting up inspection plans for the Warranty surveyor inspections, Prepare load out and stowage plans.
 Mobilize all installation barges, after ensuring that all paper work is valid for the HSE certificates are delivered by Client. Organize the load out activities on a 24 hour basis at the coating plant.
 Organize all the logistics required by the laying fleet (up to 36 Marine units involved at the same time)
 Provide all consumables, purchases, and logistic support to the offshore fleet.
 Follow up all costs associated with these activities, which include, fuel, water, catering, handling fees, stevedoring charges, spare parts, lube oil, grit.

ProjectS Manager For various construction projects related to the provision and site installation of stamped concrete areas.

Coordination of all activities related to various construction works through the follow up of the engineering works, placing steel and equipment orders, liaising between the engineering department, and the construction site, following of the daily progress against contractual milestones, installation of the final construction products at the client’s site or factory and its commissioning
 Erection of fuel tank farm (up to 30.000m2), (Uniterminal Co. - Lebanon)
 Erection of 1600T of structural steel exposed roof trusses with floor beams at intermediate levels for the main terminal building at Beirut International Airport. (Hochtief-CCC).
 Salle polyvalente, Beirut Sport City; all structural steel works including external walkways, stadium roof, technical gantries & lighting trusses, 800 tons (Kvaerner-Laceco).
 Steel chimney 108m high, belt conveyors, and furnace at a Cement factory (Polysius)
