Reporting to Associate Director, involved in pre-contract activities i.e. preparation of cost plans of various hospitality and infrastructure projects, Commercial evaluation of tender returns, advising on cost impacts of design changes.

Currently, involved in Post contract activities at KAFD project Stage 2 (5 Clusters) consist of 9 multistory buildings leading a team of 5 quantity surveyors. Dealing with all the post contract activities including but not limited to valuations, invoicing, variations, cost proposals, contract administration, claims, reporting (cost reports, progress reports and budget reports).

Working as Project Management’s Quantity Surveyor on SAR 7.00 Billion value of Design & Build Project, reporting to Commercial Manager, dealing with main contractor’s valuations (interim payments, IPCs) & their monthly progress reports, review, evaluation and assessment of variation orders, contracts administration, evaluate cost impact of design changes, Site visits to monitor works progress, assist commercial & contracts manager in all commercial matters and so on.

• KAAR - King Abdul Aziz Road Project - Makkah, a unique urban re-generation scheme aimed at providing hotel & residential accommodation, commercial / retail spaces, car parking, public spaces, underground metro tunnels & parking, underpasses, road tunnels and public amenities to support religious, social and commercial activities to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and other visitors and local residents all year round.

Worked as Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting to Commercial & Project Directors.

• Haramain High Speed Railway Stations (Jeddah & KAEC Stations), a project of Saudi Rail organization connecting to Jeddah, Madinah and Makkah through this Rail.

• Capital Marketing Authority Tower, KAFD - Riyadh - 75 story office building for head quarters of Capital Marketing Authority, KSA.

KEY ROLES;

• Change Control Management: Identify changes occurred in contract scope and accordingly preparation and submission of Variation /Change Orders and get certification from Consultant/Client.

• Valuation & Interim Payments Application: Preparation & submission of Valuations/ payment applications & get Certification from consultant/Client.

• Contract Administration: Review and recommendation of subcontractor's valuations, claims, variations, EOT’s and do all kind of correspondences on commercial & contractual issues.

• Cost management/Cost reporting: cost control, preparation of cost & value reconciliation reports, prepare monthly, quarterly & yearly forecast reports and give recommendations on the quotations /offers received from subcontractors /contractors etc.

• Commercial Reporting: Preparation of yearly, quarterly cash flow reports, including monthly forecast and financial reports to assist PM/PD for preparing Project progress & management report. • Claim Management: Initiating, identifying, preparation, submission and negotiation of construction claims.

• Collections: Pursuing payments certification, variation certification and accordingly release of payments from Clients and consultants.
• Assist project director & PMs in site contractual disputes and involves others as required.
• Draft all kind of contractual & commercial correspondences.

• Settlement of Final Accounts.
