Prepares instruments and material to be used
by doctors/dentist.
• Assists dentist in all dental treatment
procedures like pulpotomy, pulpectomy,
prefabricated crowns, conscious sedation and
general anesthesia in pediatric patients.
• Ensures that all prosthetic works, lab works, Xrays pictures and study models are prepared in
advance prior patient appointment.
• Maintain cleanliness and asepsis inside
treatment room as per accreditation standards.
• Performs sterilization and disinfection in CSSD.
• Responsible for proper inventory of instrument
and dental materials including expiration date.
• Responsible for the guidelines of infection
control such as throwing biohazard materials in
the waste bin and discarding needles in the
sharp container.
• Advising patients on dental care upon
instruction from the dentist.
• Take panoramic cephalometric x-rays whenever needed.
•Provide chairside assistance, ensuring the correct equipment available and oral hygiene education.
•Keep the clinical areas, all equipment, and instruments clean, tidy
and sterile as appropriate according to the practice health and safety, infection control procedures.
•Always ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
•Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed maintained and securely stored.
•Always observed patient confidentiality.
•Complete laboratory request forms and keep records of work sent received and fitted.

Provide daily routine for the babies such as feeding, bathing,
changing nappy, sleeping pattern.
• Monitoring and assessing baby condition such as colic, reflux,
fever during monthly vaccination.
• Provide and encouraged babies for developmental milestone.
• Advised mothers regarding breastfeeding including milk formula
calculation.
• Administering oral medication such as multivitamin.
• Providing safety environment for babies.
Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and
postoperative instruction.
• Documents dental care services by charting in patient’s records
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping
information confidential.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control
policies and protocols.
• Ensure all clinical waste to be disposed in the appropriate
manner comply with current medical regulations.
•Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plan.
•Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatment.
•Provides basic and bedside care.
•Initiates patient education plan as prescribed by physician, teach patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury; by explaining post treatment home care needs, diet, nutrition, exercise program, self-administration of medication and rehabilitation.
