DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Collects accurate patient's health data and assesses patient's condition according to hospital and unit specific policies, procedures and standards of nursing care
➢ Analyzes assessment data and formulates appropriate nursing care plan based on identified patient's needs, including significant others appropriately
➢ Performs nursing interventions competitively based on plan of care
➢ Performs airway suctioning, tracheostomy care, morning care in patients with tracheostomy connected to mechanical ventilator
➢ Provides proper assessment and gives osteorized formula through nasogastric tube safely
➢ Performs insertion of indwelling foley catheter safely ang aseptically
➢ Assists in insertion of Intrajugular catheter and creation Arteriovenous Fistula in a room available in the ward
➢ Performs wound care and wound dressing aseptically
➢ Administers oral and parenteral medications and observing 10 rights in giving medications
➢ Uses good therapeutic communication in caring patients
➢ Coordinates changes in patient's condition to the healthcare team
➢ Collaborates other patient's concerns with other disciplines using proper intradepartmental referral
➢ Evaluates effectivity of nursing interventions done by reassessing patient's condition
