DECRIPTION
 Explains procedure and treatment to patients to gain cooperation
and rapport to patients.
 Administers prescribed medications (IV, Oral, and IM) in accordance
to proper nursing techniques.
 Measures temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital
signs to detect deviations from normal.
 Performs appropriate treatments as ordered by physician in an
accurate and timely manner.
 Observes patient, record any significant symptoms and reactions,
notifies physician of patients condition.
 Develops plan of care that is individualized for the patient reflecting
collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
 Documents patient assessment findings, and provides therapeutic
