• Prepare experimental batches of dental and cosmetic care formulas (e.g. Dental Etching gel, Alcohol based hand sanitizer, Homeostasis gels, Silver Diamine Fluoride tooth cavity control and desensitizer, Cannabis infused anesthetic topical gels, charcoal teeth whitener, Cannabis infused lotion) and tested finished batches to ensure FDA compliance and company quality standards.
• Perform individual projects which included researching ingredients, contacting vendors, building and making batches, and perform quality testing those batches (specific gravity, pH, viscosity, alcohol assay etc.)
• Perform quality control analysis for existing products and upcoming research products
Counsel Production department, QC department and customers, optimized manufacturing processes.
• Investigate source materials and tested the presence or absence of specific components and contaminates of concern.
• Analyze and research ingredients and formulas.
• Record and file completed formulas with appropriate documentation for batch record purposes.
• Maintain technical documents like MSDS, product & raw material specification & formulation records.
• Record stability study program for current and new research products.
• Assist regulatory department during audits.
• Track all the equipment calibration in-house and through third party.
Lab samples processing, extraction and analysis by QuEChERS method. Lab equipment verification and calibration. Standard solution preparation and dilution.
Sample quantitative and qualitative analysis through HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography) techniques.
