Armed Forces Hospital Southern Region(AFHSR), JCI Accredited Hospital, Khamis Mushaith, Saudi Arabia - Providing Physiotherapy Services for 1200 beds capacity specialized acute care hospital including Adult ICU, PICU, NICU, TCU, ER, RICU & RTU, Inpatient Medical & surgical wards and Prince Khaled Bin Sultan Cardiac Centre, CCU and Out-Patient Physiotherapy Depart .
Job Responsibilities:
•Assess the Physiotherapy requirements of Individual patients and plan treatment programme as per JCI and CIBAHI standards and guidelines.
•Implementation high standard Physiotherapy treatments using skilled techniques.
•Providing written reports and notes for individual patients on clinical findings. Maintain progress reports on patients.
•Maintaining knowledge of current development and new techniques within Physiotherapy profession. Involved in ward rounds, meetings and case conferences
•Participating in In-service Training in the department and ongoing development and education of Medical and Nursing Staff (Manual lifting and handling techniques orientation lectures).
•Jointly developed patient plan of care and treatment goals and conducted physician-prescribed PT programs for medically complex patients (children through geriatric).
•Manage a high volume caseload and delegating responsibilities accordingly. Organizing daily schedule, rotation rosters for PT technicians Assistants.
•Supervising and teaching recently qualified Physiotherapist, Internship Students and PT Technicians. Involved in Patient safety, Fire & Safety and equipment safety committee.
•Reporting all complaints/incidents to senior managers & documenting them.
•Involved in a patients pre-admission and follow-up care. Involved in Crash cart Maintenance.
•Prioritizing urgent referrals and emergency cases.
