• Implementation of environment management systems and updates according to Indian
Law and regulations.
• Advising project manager and other staff on environment compliances. Providing inputs for environment risk assessment of the work activities.
• Studying contract requirements and preparation of reviews. Conducting kick-off meetings with contractors and employers for identification of negative and positive environment issues.
• Assisting construction manager and site engineers in conducting ad-hoc meetings for environment protection for all employees. Preparing Monthly and weekly inspection reports in accordance with Employer requirements and other documents in compliance with ISO 14001.
• Performing daily site monitoring, attending weekly environment walkthroughs/audits along with employer. Conducting toolbox talks, inductions and class room trainings. Implementing sustainable program (water conservation, energy saving, Co² reduction, waste recycling)
• Liaise with government authorities to get forest & environmental clearance for mining projects.
• Prepare EIA reports for mining companies and submit them to ministry of environment and Forests.
• Have handled steel industry projects for land acquisition and getting single window clearance from the state government
