Job Summary: Working as a System Support Engineer at IBI Group providing support to DSC Limited’s Lucknow Sitapur Expressway Limited Toll Plaza.
Responsibilities:
1- To ensure Toll Collection System are working efficiently and smoothly all the times. Responsibility to ensure the system software is working on its required level.
2- To handle all the network and hardware related activities
3- Check automatic data transfer between Lanes and Plaza Server. Check the integrity of data.
4- In case any problem with Toll Collection system, rectify the same with minimum downtime.
5 To ensure periodical maintenance of Toll systems and Equipments, to carry out preventive maintenance of the Toll systems and equipments after a regular interval.
6- To ensure timely submission of reports/data to the Management/HO in the Manner as prescribed and given by the HO.
Hardware: Routine checkup of Servers, Lane Controllers, Printers, Backup devices (Tape Drive), Lane & Booth equipments, Installation & maintenance of all type of tolling equipments like Magnetic Barriers (Boom Barriers), Loops, Treadles, UFD, RFID Tag Readers, DVIS System, Contact Less Smart Card Readers, Receipt Printers, Audit Cameras, License Plate Cameras, Traffic Light, Fog/Flasher Light, Overhead Lane Signals etc.
Software: Installation and configuration of Lane Controllers, Workstations, NAS, Toll Applications, Releases, Patches, Printer installation, Installation configuration & updation of Antiviruses, Remote problem solving skills using Team Viewer & Ultr@ VNC etc.
Server: Windows Server 2003, Active Directory Server, Microsoft Terminal Server, Daily monitoring & managing of Servers (Database server & SYS Server), Taking daily backup of Servers using Oracle Secure Backup (Backup Utility) etc.
