Testing & Commissioning:
• Performed comprehensive component testing including auxiliary relays, contactors, trip relays,
lockout relays, and timer relays.
• Conducted CT and VT Insulation resistance test.
• Carried out testing and calibration of multifunction meters.
• Conducted CT testing for 33kV switchgear, including winding resistance, ratio, polarity, and
excitation and burden tests.
• Executed protection relay testing for Distance, Backup and Feeder protection relays.
• Configured the CID files for SIPROTEC and Easergy devices.
• Developed and configured logic schemes using CFC charts in Siemens DIGSI 5.

interlocks.

Operation & Maintenance:
• Monitor real-time power system parameters including voltage, frequency, load flow, and breaker
status through SCADA systems.
• Analyze system trends and event logs to identify abnormalities and prevent potential outages.
• Coordinate load management, load shedding, and restoration activities during system
disturbances or maintenance operations.
• Perform remote operation of circuit breakers, isolators, and protection systems via SCADA as per
operational procedures.
• Support planned outages, shutdowns, and energization activities by reviewing switching
programs and safety clearances.
• Coordinate with Field engineers and technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Authorize and issue Permit to Work (PTW) and Isolation Certificates to ensure safe maintenance
operations
• Ensure accurate tagging, isolation, and LOTO compliance before authorizing field work.
• Provide handover briefings between shifts, ensuring continuity of operations and awareness of
ongoing issues.

Engineering:
• Preparation of IO List, SAS Architecture, BoM as per project specifications.
• Performed IEC61850 Configuration for Bay control Units, RTUs, Gateways and Protection Relays.
• Implemented and supported network redundancy solutions based on PRP, HSR, MRP, and RSTP protocols for reliable system performance.
• Configuration of LGOS between the BCUs and IEDs.
• Configuration & Integration of Modbus devices with BCU.
• Configured 104 Scada Mapping for G500 in DS Agile-Studio.
• Designing of complete HMI including the System Architecture, Single Line Diagram, GAS SLD Diagram, Bay views, Dynamic animations of SLD, Measurement blocks, Annunciations in DSAgile SCADA Systems..

Testing:
• Complete automation and protection scheme verification (Control and Relay Panel) for different voltage levels 765kV, 400kV, 220kV, 66kV and 33kV.
• Configuration and testing of Auto Reclose, Voltage Synchro check functions in Bay Control Units.
• Developed and validated interlocking logics for isolators, circuit breakers, earth switches, and voltage selection schemes.
• Goose Configuration between relays.
• Established network ring architecture and performed troubleshooting for communication networks.
• Installation & testing of SCADA Server, Gateway and RTU systems.
• Troubleshoot the IEC61850 with IED scout and analyze the protocols with Wireshark.
