• February 2012/present day: Self-employed in the remediation of an abandoned marginal area in
Liguria, Italy, an hectare extended on 45 mt altitude gap, fallen in disuse 70 years ago, through the development of experimental and innovative technologies including, among other: - Soil enrichment cultures: recruitment of two rhizobial bacterial strains in study at the Council for Research and Experimentation in Agriculture (CRA), achievement of the thermal- mechanical-chemical conditions for their cultivation and amplification in a 'domestic
environment', following open field inoculations during the sowing of faba beans and peas ( both
straw strains, for a low costs maintenance) for a compostable biomass increase and atmospheric
nitrogen nitrification;
- Alternative crop technologies: immersion hydroponic system and spraying nozzles aeroponic
system construction with recycled materials (qualitative and quantitative comparison both with conventional and biological techniques); starting a self-fertilised permacultural system
characterised by low water consumption with the raised beds technique; thermal regulation and water use automation of a greenhouse; actually planning the development of a lowcost
centralized fertirrigation system controlled by Arduino.
- Recovery and water management: four groundwater wells remediation through the use of biofilters; planning and implementation of a drainage and collection system of surface water,
planning and development of a fully automated refilling system for underground tanks filtered
water storing, and a water processing utility system with submersible pump, press control and electrical protection; total automation of irrigation systems ( green, trees, vegetable garden);
- Flora and fauna settlement: structuring pruning of existing olive trees, transplanting of fruit
trees, vines, ornamental plants and hedges, building a chicken tractor on wheels for soil
movement and fertilization; starting a goat farm;
The plot has been valued at over five times its purchase price.
• October 2013: Designing an housing module (3.5x7x3.5mt) integrated with an aeroponic system for the domestic production of vegetables, self-fertilized through aquaponic techniques; selected for the exhibition of the School of Civil Architectures-Politecnico di Milano at Bovisa Campus
Own business, private chef-at-home on job call;
• October 2007/April 2008: Commis Chef and Sous Chef at "Notting Hill Brasserie" (London,
UK), restaurant rated 25/30 by Zagat 2007;
• 2005-2008, summer seasons and holidays: Sous Chef at "The Third Circle" (Celle Ligure, SV,
Italy), seafood innovative restaurant inspired by fine cooking and molecular gastronomy
techniques.
