As a Wealth manager, I provide financial planning services and investment advice to high net worth individuals. Since the essential goal of any wealth manager is to sustain and increase the long-term wealth of their clients, the profession involves a number of quite diverse disciplines.
Indeed, wealth managers routinely provide their clients with the following types of services, customized banking solutions, estate and probate planning, tax advice and investment management.
Setting up and running a document collection/investigation agency which operates nationwide. My role as business owner;
• Development of the business
• Sales and marketing
• Distribution of the work
• Quality control
• Business prospecting and financial planning
• Identifying customers and clients needs then tailoring a package to suit the needs.
• Develop and maintaining a database of all contacts.
• Promote the company brand in the local area
• Identify key products and launch these to market
• Generating new business in a face to face manor
• Signposting contacts and initiating key deals
• Face to face meetings with potential clients to close deals and
prospect any other business from those clients
Along with a business partner, I set up a small IFA led financial business dealing with referrals for all financial products including Mortgages, Insurance products, Pension Reviews and Wills.
The core product that I was dealing with was Pension reviews. I developed the business alongside my current database of agents working in the field. We gained independent introducers/IFAs/Mortgage brokers to place pension reviews into our business model, then referred those clients to a pension company that I had established good relationships with.
