Brought in by the CTO to deliver software products for their
startup businesses spun out from their corporate entity, across
EdTech, FinTech and New Media.
● Responsible for day-to-day technical team management, and
the technology product development.
● Recruited and managed software developers, UX, QA, growth
marketing and data analytics team.
● Team achieved exponential rates of growth from launch,
reaching 4 million mobile app downloads within one year.
Lead the delivery of B2B and B2C technology products in the F&B
and hospitality sectors, for a large multinational headquartered in
Dubai, across web, mobile and eCommerce.
● Implementation of the digital transformation strategy and
complete implementation of processes and procedures within
the business through ITIL and Scrum.
● Roll-out of group ERP and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
● Launched new digital assets across web & mobile, as part of
existing and new business launches.
Co-founded a social-dining platform in the B2C restaurant
booking space. Recruited a growing team to build an innovative
B2C platform. Responsible for technology design and
development. Secured investment from a regional angel network
and won a prestigious startup award.
Co-founded a software development agency from scratch building
bespoke websites, apps, portals, eCommerce platforms, using
cloud services and tailored technology stacks. Grew the business
from a two-person startup and sold in a trade sale. Responsible for
project delivery, solutions architecture and day-to-day running of
the business.
