•Providing consultancy to client organization on requirements analysis (H/W and Software requirements)
•Organizing the installation/Maintenance of Sybase Server and layout of the database devices on separate hard disks for optimal performance
•Primary Sybase DBA for the application (Finware) and responsible for smooth functioning of Sybase Production, DR, UAT, Development and Staging servers including server and database, troubleshooting of errors, maintenance of Cron jobs, backup scheduling, and disk provisioning for future allocations
•User maintenance, roles allocation, query optimization, stored procedure compilation troubleshooting Up gradation of applications involving 650 GB Database from Sybase 11.9.2 32bit to Sybase 12.5 64bit architecture, with the help of extensive shell scripting, all on Sun-Solaris environment with high end Sun servers (E12K and E20K)
