Major responsibilities were positioning, demonstrating, and designing Microsoft solutions as part of the pre-sales process to win market share and help customers achieve their business objectives.
• Articulating value points and alignment to customer’s business goals of technologies
• Driving win rates within assigned Business Intelligence opportunities through the delivery of technical sales engagements and contributing to account and territory planning
• Leading complex technical pre-sales discussions and customer technical relationships, including architecture design sessions, proof of concepts, demonstrations, competitive positioning, and RFP/RFI for strategic accounts in:
o public sector (transportation, taxation, defense, education, healthcare, government and legislation),
o private sector (FSI, Retail, Manufacturing, Telco, Energy, Oil & Gas)
• Supporting partner ecosystem - architecture design sessions, ongoing projects assistance
• Maintaining strong, established relationships with marketing and industry and cross-product teams planning and delivering joint activities, publishing whitepapers and evangelizing account units
• Generating awareness of Microsoft products for a broad audience - participating as a speaker at Microsoft TechEd / "Platforma" annual conferences, Russian BI PASS Chapter, Cloud Day, Big Data for FSI, SQL PASS Rally, SQL Server 2012/2014 Launch Roadshows
Major responsibilities were helping customer account teams identify, pursue and close strategic business development opportunities while continually driving add-on business within existing projects. Participating in a number of projects as a member and owner (full delivery cycle - interview, proposal, development, deployment, closure and support) with major private and public sector customers (Oil & Gas, FSI, Automotive, Education, Retail) as well as:
• designing and implementing various business intelligence (SQL Server, OLAP, ETL, Reporting, Dashboards), integration (BizTalk) and custom solutions (ASP .NET, SharePoint Server)
• communicating with executive CxO, business unit leads and technical project stakeholders
• overall project / subcontractor management
• preparing solution documentation, specifications, proposals, SOW
• driving and meeting self-utilization and presale targets
