Work as Project Manager for a Construction company in Dubai.
Responsibility of monitoring construction work, and examine risks and opportunities
Make sure standards and requirements are met through carrying out QA/QC procedures
Responsible for entire project management plan including project concept, production, cost, design, communication, time, risk, project human resources etc.
Regular interface with clients, subcontractors, designers, material suppliers and proposing alternates by keeping the same design intent
Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that meets the actual requirements
Monitoring the progress of the works and meet the work targets as per the programmers, charts and critical paths approved by the Management.
Generate site progress reports and issue project schedules to clients.
Generate and preserve comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
Contact the respective regulatory authorities to inspect and comment on the completed fit-out works for the issuance of occupancy certificate.
Understanding work objectives, to handle available resources, to establish priorities and to apply a methodical approach in thinking through, planning and arranging to carry out assignments.
Experience in the coordination and clash detection of underground utilities, pipes, duct banks
Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks
Determines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs
Coordinate with the consultant(s) for bill approvals, preparing and submitting all necessary records as per the contract requirements in coordination with the respective functional departments
Preserve adequate and updated records, drawings and plans for the projects
Prepares engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules
Manage site operations with discipline and execute the works as per the construction schedule with a set of performance parameters.
Reviews and approves Subcontractor payment certificates.
