Key Responsibilities as Academic Quality Controller (Aug‘10 - Present):
• Planning, organizing, directing & controlling the administration activities including facility issues, staffing, scheduling & developing policies & procedures.
• Designing and establishing ADEC curriculum in line with syllabi and a definite roadmap, in consultation with management and Head of Departments, to meet long term organizational objectives.
• Assisting teachers in creating some schemes of work, lesson planning and other activities according to the students needs whilst guiding the teachers to maintain their own record of students’ work & resources produced.
• Evaluating SABIS & ADEC teachers on classroom management, sound instructional practice, pacing, lesson planning and proper use of materials and delivery of curriculum standards.
• Controlling the performance of various members in the team which includes teacher trainees, office manager, student life organization supervisor and IT analyst.
• Monitoring student’s academic progress by analyzing the summary of all exam grades on a weekly basis & taking the necessary action by coordinating with the teachers, students and parents.
• Supervising wide array of admin staff tasks related to various functions of the school including accounting, scheduling, maintenance, janitorial and safety measures to safeguard the premises.
• Setting standards for students for 4 different subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Information & Communication technology.
• Drafting monthly progress reports of students to Regional Academic Quality Controller (RAQC) & the Head Office (regional office that runs 34 schools), communicating effectively with students & recommending required course of action.

Key Responsibilities as Math Teacher Advisor (Aug ‘08 - Aug ’10):
• Developed/implemented Abu Dhabi Educational Council (ADEC) curriculum in collaboration with other teachers and provided with an appropriate repertoire of teaching strategies enabling them to provide the best to the students.
• Reviewed, restructured and innovated thematic processes/concepts to ensure current methods of teaching mathematics are addressed in a practical fashion.
• Aided student learning and comprehension through establishment of a Math Club tutoring for bright students as well as students with learning difficulties by providing guidance whilst promoting knowledge, talent, skills and awareness of health, safety, and discipline.
• Assisted the AQC’s for providing instructional support for SABIS and ADEC teachers in order to improve subject specific instructional delivery, testing data session planning, developing pacing charts and implementing the points systems.
• Played a pivotal role in promoting ADEC independence in planning, preparation, delivery and assessment of ADEC curriculum.
• Planned and executed instructional lessons, prepared subject material, assessed students based on specific objectives derived from set curricula, and communicated with parents on a periodic basis to discuss student’s progress/issues.
• Co-facilitated ESL classes for ADEC teachers, assisted in translation, lesson planning, and implementation of lessons designed to prepare ADEC teacher for IELTS.
• Explored new innovative teaching methodologies, provided strategies, designed action plans with subject teachers under AQC guidance concurrently ensured that students performance achieve ADEC standards and curriculum.
• Kept abreast of new trends and development as well as communicated the same with ADEC teachers to implement the best educational practices during teaching as well as reported the same to AQC’s.
