Currently working as a supervision and safety engineer on multiple construction and renovation projects for military buildings for the British Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). Essentially, I am the person in charge of the overall supervision of an assigned site, and in general, one of AECOM’s construction supervisors charged with observing and directing the execution of the construction phase through IR’s, and coordinating with the UK-based supervisors and designers on all the technical submissions (shop drawings, RFIs, method statements & etc.). In addition, I also manage and mentor the HSE aspects and the daily sites tests and site inspections in an effort to maintain a high standard of quality work with an impeccable safety record. This position also requires managing work schedules and contractor payments as well as interaction with key stakeholders and the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) in facilitating the delivery of construction and utilities.

Successfully completed with FOX phase 3, 4, & 5 of design, integration, construction, communication and engineering services for the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), and the Jordan Energy and Materials Regulatory Commission (EMRC). The project essentially aimed to enforce the security of the bottleneck of Jordan’s borders and airports needed to prevent illegal activities of smuggled radioactive materials. The project consisted of six phases/groups under the policies and terms of AECOM. My role in this project started as a site engineer for phase/group 3 followed by a promotion to safety and site supervisor/manager for groups no. 4 & 5 of the project.
