1- follow up the site installation schedule
2- follow up Concrete pouring schedule and make sure all mechanical is roughed in

10 - perform a last check to make sure all sleeves are installed prior to wall or slab concrete pouring
11-coordinate with QC and make sure all the necessary risk mitigation and opportunity realization actions are identified and implemented.
Project Engineer \[site\]
Responsibilities:
Act as the main technical adviser on site;
Check plans, drawings and quantities (Air conditioning, heating, ventilation, drainage, water supply, firefighting, gas...)
Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and report to the project Director on the same.
Manage the day to day work of the MEP team.
In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same.
Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations; Review Contractor’s installation method statements.
Review Contractor’s shop drawings against the design \[tender\] drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Project Director with appropriate comments / approval within the specified contractual period.
Review contractor’s mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering co‐ordination and advise the Project Director accordingly.
Review Contractor’s mechanical services material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and the appropriateness of the proposals.
Review Contractor’s proposed sub‐contractor(s) associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint.
Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the mechanical services works for Contractor’s adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant’s specification, good working practices and construction schedule.
Undertake off‐site inspections of proposed equipment and materials.
Undertake prior review of Contractor’s proposed mechanical system testing & commissioning methods and schedule.
Witness on‐site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing and other testing that may be required during the first fix works ;
Review and comment on Contractor’s testing and commissioning results Maintain on‐going list of mechanical services defects for contractor’s remedial action.
Undertake final project snagging and prepare list of defects for Contractor’s action.
Review and comment upon the Contractor’s Operation and Maintenance manuals.
Review and approve Contractor’s ‘as built’ drawings.
Oversee selections and requisition of materials and plant;
Plan the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities(attendant PMP courses) Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site;
Prepare reports as required; Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Coordinating testing and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation (air balancing, chiller, VRV , fire system, BMS, EIB..)
Mechanical Engineer \[Design\]
Responsibilities: Design of Residential and Commercial Mechanical Systems (Air
conditioning, heating, ventilation, drainage, water supply, firefighting, gas...) based on
international standards and codes. Position also includes coordination with the
supervision department as well some site visits and supervision tasks.
Project sundertaken are within the MENA area.
