Direct reporters include, Maintenance Inspection and planning supervisor, Electrical supervisor,
Mechanical supervisor, and through these manage the Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Teams
and machine shop activities and personnel.
Overall responsibility for planning and coordinating with other departments the repairs of
equipment in all areas of the plant, to maximize the Preventive Maintenance plans.
Accountable for the maintenance of available (used) spare parts and ensure proper handling and
storage, to guarantee efficient utilization of all assists.
Develop and implement long-term, medium-term and day-to-day maintenance plans, to ensure
optimized cost expenditure with highest KPI’s achievements.
Develop, implement and manage the lubrication program, vibration analysis, reliability team’s
effort, root cause analysis.
Develop, implement and control the Maintenance Budget, including CAPEX and OPEX.
Develop and train of all Maintenance personnel, to achieve best performance.
Manage personnel within the department to meet all job requirements and company/plant
standards.
Responsible for performance appraisals, salary administration, disciplinary actions and other
employee relation activities.
·Responsible for the manufacturing process (Production, Maintenance and quality).
·Ensure all Policies and Procedures are updated to guarantee continuous improvement, control, and optimization of the unit performance.
·Accountable for the unit budget, investment (CAPEX), annual plans and operational objectives.
·Ensure effective and efficient availability of spare parts and materials contributing to sustainable & reliable operations.
·Promote improvements in quality, environment and safety levels and to ensure that processes, plans and operating instructions are followed.
·Ensure that the service goals are met, with optimized cost/quality ratios.
• Managing the Electrical Sector with 35 Members (engineers and technicians).
• Compliance with HSE requirements and ensuring that all HSE necessities are met.
• As a Cement Mills Area Reliability team Leader, Achieved Light Green Benchmarked Reliability Factor for the Cement Mills Area of The Plant (96 % on average).
• Improved the Maintenance KPI’s of Crushers Area, RF (From 89 % average to 92 % average) and MTBF (From 8 Hr.'s average to 14 Hr.'s average) as being Part of the Task Force on this area.
• Minimized the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) to avoid long break down times by improving the PM actions implementation during shutdowns (Weekly and Annually).
• Improved the Power Consumption (kWh/t) of different areas of the plant by applying different actions as being part of the Energy Management Team.
• Enhanced the team capabilities and knowledge by Liaising with the Training Section of Human Resources Service in matters related to the technical training courses for Electrical staff.
• Working as Industrial Area Engineer Responsible for: Raw Materials Area and Cement Mills Area
• Performing regular and routine Maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule.
• Leading a group of technicians and workers to perform the target tasks.
• Have hands-on Experience with:
o VVVF Drives - Siemens and ABB Types ACS 600, ACS 800 and ACS 1000.
o MCC, UPS system, Battery chargers.
o MVD Circuit Breakers and their control circuit, feeding MV Motors up to 3.9 MW.
o LV and MV Motors with both Oil and Liquid Starters.
• Worked as a Plant Electrical Shift Engineer from January 2006 till February 2007.
Participated in the commissioning phase of the following Projects
• Al-Hunayy Water Transmission Line to Riyadh City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Automation of the Cooling Tower for the Milling Machines, SADIP Co. Dammam Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. With the following tasks and responsibilities:
o Testing and commissioning of the Control System.
o System Over-All Loops Check.
o Complete Cable Engineering from Field to JB’s, JB’s to Panels.
o Supervision on the Installation of Cables and Cables’ Trays.
o Supervision on Installation and Wiring of the Control Panel.
Bachelor in Electrical power engineering and machine, courses related to automatic control and power generation and transmission.
