• Establish and build up HSE policies and standards
• Complete all legal requirement to comply with local regulation.
• Assess the risks in work place and secure suitable control measures to be implemented.
• Establish training systems including materials, needs, plans and perform.
• Implement and Deploy ISO45001 and ISO14001

Summary of duties and responsibilities:
• Develop HSE compliance and roadmap plans even Strategic or Operational plans.
• Establish and follow-up the implement of HSE policies, procedures work instructions… .
• Select / Assign and train HSE team to perform the required tasks.
• Prepare training matrix for all working levels and perform the training processes.
• Prepare / design the infuriation projects to enhance safety and emergency performance
• Plan, implement efficiency resource projects and evaluate its visibility.

Summary of duties and responsibilities

• Facilitate operational performance to achieve corporate and regional targets & BPs.
• Ensure the compliance with local HSE legal requirements and interface / dealing with official local authorities & International HSE standards (IFC, ILO, ….).
• Implement / update / maintain policies & procedures to improve the safety performance all over group to be applied with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001and ISO 22000 standards.
• Represent the top management HSE external and internal audits and prepare the records.
• Design / implement Safe Driving System all over the group including drivers training.
• Participate with HSE sector managers in preparing / review Risk Assessment and ensure the suitable precautions to control the risks are taken.
• Perform regular sites visit & audit for all plants to follow up safety teams to check the performance and ensure fully comply with HSE standards.
• Train / direct safety team all over the sites on how to communicate and promote the safety concept to all employees. Provide hands-on training and motivate personnel.
• Prepare / review Emergency Response Plans for all plants & ensure that all employees are aware of emergency procedures and evaluate the performance in drills.
• Perform HSE training and awareness sessions across the group.

Misr Glass Manufacturing Company S.A.E (MGM) is an Egyptian joint stock company specialized in the production of glass containers to international standards. MGM increased its annual production capacity to 150, 000 tones. MGM has established a new subsidiary; United Glass Containers Company (UGC) to manufacture glass containers and ampoules. Total head count in MGM is about 1800 workers 4 shifts 24 hours.

Summary of duties and responsibilities :

 Ensures the implementation of the department objectives according to the Company strategy to maintain the requirement of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001and ISO 22000 .
 Develops policies, procedures, guidelines and standards related to the HSE function
 Orients the department staff with the strategy, HSE objectives, policies and procedures.
 Provides guidance and leadership to HSE staff for the three factories (Mostorod, Asher & Obour) to ensure compliance with department objectives and quality standards.
 Prioritizes, coordinates, and allocates work assignments to staff, and resolves day-to-day / strategic problems and issues.
 Establishes environmental risk standards and guidelines as per industry standards
 Develops a database and inventory of the Company’s environmental hazard and risk sources and equipment in environmental record.
 Update the Emergency Response Plan periodical and conducts safety training and drills
 Records and investigates of incidents /near miss, recommends preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence and presents statistics reports to governmental authorities.
 Ensures that all operation permits and equipments’ licenses are issued on time through regular checkups and Coordinates with health authorities for the annual check up
 Conducts checks on the wells/sewage wastes to ensure its compliance with the laws.
 Coordinates with the Procurement function for the purchases and ensures that all expenses are within the range of budget.

Summary of duties and responsibilities

 Responsible for ensure fully compliance / implementing of Operation Integrity Management System (OIMS) and company policies in 3 locations.
 Responsible for assess and manage risk in working environment and ensure implementing the prevention and mitigation actions.
 Develop and update the ERP (Emergency Response Plan) and train all employees and labor on them roles.
 Perform a monthly drill on ERP to ensure fully understanding.
 Control and issue the Work Control Procedure (hot and cold work, working at height, ..)
 Responsible for Training System ( Plan- need- requirement- performance)
 Develop and update the security procedure to reflect the company requirements and the local security status and manage the security performance.
 Responsible for quality assurance in site and investigate in quality incident.
 Prepare the annual EBP (Environment Business Plan) to be aligned with company policies.
