-Perform on-site inspections for quality of workmanship, quality of materials, conformity with plans & specifications, code compliance, on-site safety, project schedule vs progress, and general progress of the project.
-Attend, or conduct, construction meetings with contractor, architect, and major subcontractors that are on site.
-Review progress billings and when necessary negotiate revisions.
-Prepare and review contracts with the selected consultants, contractors and vendors
-Review plans and specifications for suitability; quality; building code compliance; fire code compliance and budget.
-Ensure a reasonable, realistic, budget is developed and maintained without compromising the quality or integrity.
-Report directly to the head of engineering department and the CEO
-Manage the design and construction
-Defect management using SnagR for the first time in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.
-Ensure all lien/claim releases are executed with all progress and final payments.
-Project close out.
-Assist with Post-Occupancy.
- Report directly to the Senior Project Manager
- Assist with controlling the Project Programmes and Costs
- Coordinate with the Design Team on all aspects of the Design
- Raise relevant correspondence on assigned project as directed
- Assist in preparing any Project Reports as required by the line manager
- Assist the Project Director and Senior Project Manager with completing and handing over the project to the client in the manner so required and to ensure a smooth transition of demobilization by all parties
- Assist the Project Director and Senior Project Manager with ensuring all project documentation is correctly archived throughout the correct channels and procedures with EDARA Head Office
- Assist with post completion/defects liability issues
- Suggest value engineering solutions where possible and to the benefit to the project
- Suggest solutions that will be beneficial to the overall success of EDARA
- Insure that best practice Health and Safety procedures are enforced at all times
