The role was tasked with leading and managing the technological operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives. It involves developing & implementing IT strategies, overseeing project management, and ensuring the eficient operation of IT systems. Managing a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while maintaining the IT budget and resource allocation. Providing strategic recommendations to senior management, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
In my role, I managed a cutting-edge project utilizing Oblong g-speak to develop a universal visualizer for managing oil reservoirs and wells at the Aramco EXPEC Advanced Research Center (ARC). This project leveraged g-speaks unique spatial computing capabilities to create an immersive, interactive visual interface, enabling geologists and engineers to analyze and interpret complex data more intuitively and eficiently. The visualizer provided a comprehensive view of reservoir dynamics and well performance, enhancing decision-making processes and operational eficiency. Through this innovative solution, we significantly improved the ability to monitor and optimize the exploitation of oil resources, demonstrating a successful integration of advanced technology in the energy sector.
It was the first company holding the golden partnership with Microsoft, and it was my first job after graduation. I worked as a consultant and senior developer, building applications, web portals, web services, integration modules and business platforms using the latest Microsoft solutions.
