• Lead the annual planning & performance management of the Trading Commodities value stream and manage the execution through robust business and procurement planning process & procedures, continuous performance management and operations oversight.
• Manage the Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) process in line with existing governance structure, policies, processes, procedures and decision rights for maximum efficiency.
• Operations management support to needful areas such as sales operations, logistics & transportation operations, production, procurement, quality & innovation and export operations.

• Plan and manage the execution of logistics, production and shipping to meet customer’s deadlines.
• Manage purchased raw stocks, manage sieves operation and ready goods storage.
• Establish and manage partnerships with logistics and freight providers to ensure an efficient operation.
• Review and follow up on issuing all export documents.
• Manage customer relationship and ensure customer satisfaction. Resolve all issues for clients and be the focal point for customer’s complaints.
• Continuously improve the export process driving efficiencies and effectiveness.
• Participate in the development of Sourcing & Export section policies, processes and procedures technically and operationally and ensure adherence, so that all relevant requirements are fulfilled and aligned with the operations.
• Manage all Vallis Group operations in Sudan and operationally take full charge of all supply chain, procurement and marine services and contracts management continuously improving efficiency.
• Manage all the staff and train employees on operations and procedures.
• Engage with current and potential clients/suppliers to address all issues and creating opportunities for business development.
• Regularly report and present business performance data to Vallis HQ in the United Kingdom.
• As Dairy Procurement Business Partner take full responsibility of all DAL Dairy Factory materials supply planning & procurement activities and operations.
• Lead the development of the annual demand plan in order to ensure that the unit’s activities and plans are aligned and congruent with the needs and plans of the head unit.
• Monitor performance of the Dairy unit in accordance of the direction set forth by the Business Partners Section and prepare periodic reports on performance.
• Responsible for ensuring the relationships between the Procurement function and the business units are effectively developed and managed to ensure value and operational efficiency is achieved.
• Act as an intermediary between key internal stakeholders and the wider procurement function to provide commercial input, guidance and support at the outset of all new requirements and sourcing discussions.
• Lead the development of procurement function and implement sourcing strategies providing the organization with the lowest total cost of ownership while delivering the highest level of quality and service.

• Supervise the full procurement processes within the Business Partners' assigned areas and when necessary, assume leadership role in any phase such as, contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to Sourcing section in order to facilitate flow of information and also to build awareness in those areas
• Lead change management and enable a culture susceptible to change management by communicating the business case for change and benefits to staff.
Achievements:
Assisted the implementation of ISO 9001:2018 Quality Systems, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management and ISO 14001 EHS (Environment, Health and Safety).
Reduced procurement spend by 3%. Reduced inventory cost by 6% by developing better suppliers and finding better packaging solutions while eliminating out of stock issues.
• Operationally take full responsibility of DAL Dairy Factory material’s supply planning and inventory management.
• Conduct monthly Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP) meeting and prepare monthly purchase and logistics plans.
•Review the purchase, delivery and logistics cycle plans on regular basis to maintain the inventory level and cost within the corporate designated targets.
• Calculate materials cash flow requirements and prepare the yearly procurement budget and spend analysis.
• Analyze and evaluate sales and production trends and collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure good stock replenishment plan and assess risk of expiry and out of stocks.
Achievements: Developed and implemented a planning and replenishment system which eliminated out of stock issues and reduced working capital stock by 14%.
