STC FGL-CLS Project:
Worked at Saudi Telecom Company (STC) as an Operation Engineer for the OSS department, responsibly includes administrating Fault Geo Locator system and Caller Locator System with major focus on assuring the reliability of the critical system for 24/7.
Tracked and solved systems’ usage incidents using remedy ticketing system.
Created daily and monthly reports of systems’ usage and errors.
Participated in FGL-CLS v2 project (requirements elicitation and deployment).
GeoPortal Project:
Participated in analyzing functional and non-functional requirements for GeoPortal System.
Participated in Database Modeling, Use Case modeling and writing user scenarios / stories.
Participated in the system’s design (BPMN and sequencing).
Involved in several research projects (mainly software engineering research projects).
Assisted the ICS chairman in evaluating technical bids reports for advanced graphic server.
Supported the registrar office during the registration periods (twice a year) in a technical support role
(mostly in the Banner system).
Assisted the registrar office with daily operation including students’ file archiving and management.
Aided the ICS department with administrative tasks, exam mentoring tasks and in grading some courses.
IMSPlus FIBA Project:
Assisted the PM in scheduling milestones of the installation of IMSPlus system and its corresponding hardware (banking solution from Profile System and Software Co. in Server/Client architecture) in Financial Investments Bank (FIBA), Khartoum.
Assisted the PM for the on-site routines of acceptance testing.
Team member responsible for training FIBA’s employees on IMSPlus.
Responsible for assurance of bank employers’ convenience with the new system.
Reported to the PM the users’ progress rate of shifting to new system.
Developed and updated the project plans and documents.
Facilitated communication channels between the project team.
Created and distributed communications and performance reports.
Responsible for all IT Policies and Procedures.
Assisted in building policies with other department.
Graduating Thesis: Evaluation of the Cognitive Effectiveness for the Visual Syntax of Feature Diagrams and Secure Tropos.
