- Responsible in executing the role and responsibilities of an Authorized Gas Safety Tester (AGST), Confined Space Safety Assessor (CSSA) and Confined Space Entry Manager (CSEM) during Turnarounds and Shutdowns.

- Supports Turnaround Coordinator (TOC) and Operations with operational activities in Marine.

- Participates in Operational planning, procedures and performance parameters.

- Focal point to communicate and escalate actual and potential problems/incidents to higher Management and/or other involved parties.

- Responsible in taking appropriate corrective actions to normalize deviation from plan or schedule.

- Performs troubleshooting abnormal equipment problems that is being worked on.

- Assist in handling incidents, emergencies and subsequent follow-up arising from related work.

- Performs minor maintenance works to facilitate work progress.

- Supervises daily maintenance by Engineering staff and or Contractors, inclusive of gas freeing, draining/ de-oiling, spade work and hot work.

- Assist in preparing job pack, isolation drawing, spade diagrams, de-oiling procedures to facilitate maintenance work.

- Issues safety clearance certificates (Permit-To-Work) and checks working conditions via site inspections.

- Conducts training and mentor team-members in Marine Operations department on maintenance aspect of work.

- Responsible for the progression of Shore Loading Officers/ Loading Masters in respective competencies.

- Responsible in ensuring wharves shutdown/ rejuvenation are carried out in timely and safely manner in the given timeline.

- Oversaw all operations in ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency for lubricants drumming, road tankers filling and vessel movement.
- Spearheads in setting up KPIs’ and in achieving output process targets.
- Plays an integral part in the Safety Management System with consistent involvement for continous improvement of the company’s safety practice and culture.
- Acts as the main focal during plant upsets and heads all troubleshooting processes.
- Performed blending, Inter-tank transfer (ITT) and mixing to achieve the specifically desired cargo specifications.
- Managed vessels operations which include Marine Loading Arms (MLA)/ hoses operations, berthing and unberthing of vessels as well as being the assigned Loading Master on board representing the Terminal
- Interact with and support Commercial Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments to ensure that appropriate process data and analyses are available to support Company’s business objectives
- Oversaw production related tasks including planning, control and troubleshooting. Optimized man & machine utilization to achieve pre-set production targets.

- Performs valves isolations and implements Lock-in Lock-out (LOTO) system for lines/equipments when the need arises (maintenance or troubleshooting purposes).
- Involved in daily Permit-to-Work system (PTW)

• Ensured an un-disrupted supply of natural gas in line with allocated quantities and with correct specifications from dedicated GENCOs.

• Responsible for maintaining process parameters, data logging and troubleshooting on site.

• Performed jetty operations for loading and unloading, berthing and unberthing of vessels.

• Worked as an assigned Panelman and held accountable for plant’s process parameters.

• Liaised with contractors and vendors in order to ensure quality of daily plant operations.

• Trained and mentored junior members of the staff on a monthly basis.

• Conducted audits and drafted SOPs.

• Participated in daily operations like tank-farming, jetty operations, retrieving product samples, bunkering, berthing and unberthing of vessels.
