1. Oversees all facets of the daily operations of the organizational unit, ensuring compliance with the ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc. (EMEPMI) internal process and federal laws, policies, and regulations. Including Radioactive Material transportation via seaway/storage/ handling standard, International Maritime Dangerous Good (IMDG code)

2. Interprets new and existing regulations, advises leadership on technical and regulatory issues regarding the strategic direction of the radiation safety program applies strategic measures as appropriate.

3.Manages programs of critical importance; works with leadership, individual principal investigators, and the radiation safety contractors in the development and implementation of new proposals as well as the coordination and administration of existing projects within the radiation safety program.

4. Oversees the review of radiation safety related activities onshore/offshore facilities to ensure proper disclosure of radiation exposure and ensure compliance with EMEPMI's policies and federal regulations.

5. Prepares reports and other forms of scientific or technical nature, including publishing and revising the EMEPMI's Radiation Protection Plan and SOP's as appropriate and conduct site inspection on yearly basis.

6. Responds to radiation safety emergencies and prepares and submits required reports.

7. Oversees the use of radioactive materials at EMEPMI's offshore and onshore facilities through the management of radioactive materials licensing and radioactive waste management programs. Reviews and approves requests for radiation-related activities

8. Manages the radiation safety training program to ensure that only authorized, qualified individuals work with radiation; manages the personnel dosimetry program to limit radiation exposure to radiation users and ensure compliance with EMEPMI's policies and regulatory exposure limits.

9/. May propose and create new programs in the area of radiation safety including research of regulations, process development, development of SOPs and implementation.

10. Participates in the development and management of annual operating budgets for the operating unit; prioritizes and tracks contract expenditures.

11.Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient operation of the program/project.

12/. Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.

13. Represents the organization at various community and/or business meetings, committees, and task forces including Atomic Energy Regulator of Malaysia and National oil company, PETRONAS; promotes existing and new programs and/or policies
