Supervise and execute installation of high voltage equipment including power transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, VTs, and cable systems. Manage site activities related to substation construction, transmission lines, and HV cable laying, routing, and termination. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for transformers, circuit breakers, relays, GIS/AIS systems, and associated electrical assets. Execute electrical testing activities including insulation resistance tests, relay
testing, transformer testing, and HV cable testing. Prepare electrical engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), load calculations, cable sizing, and protection schemes. Perform fault analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to improve system reliability and operational performance.
Review and interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Ensure all electrical works are carried out in compliance with project requirements, international standards (IEC), and local regulations. Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients for smooth execution of site activities. Conduct inspections and ensure quality control of materials, installations, and workmanship. Responsible to Raise the RFI (Request for Inspection) and arrange the site inspection as per Hold/Witness with client representatives.
