Preparation and submissions of request for approval of materials (RAM)
Conducts regular inspections on the scheduled activities and makes necessary reports.
Preparation of Quality related documents as per client’s requirement such as Quality control plan, ITP, Method statement, and related work instructions and liaison with the client for the approvals.
Arrange/attend meetings with main contractors and sub-main contractors to discuss issues related to Engineering, construction, and quality.
Inspected the installation of MV/LV-Transformers, Switchgears, MCCs, Motors, Cable Bus Ducts, Power Cables, etc., and also material receiving for the above materials.
Issue of INCRs and implementing the corrective actions in conformance with the client’s standards & Specs.

Surveillance inspection for installation of switchgear 11kv, auto transfer switch, battery charger, Emergency diesel generator, and lighting panel.
Responsible for incoming materials Inspection with respect to approved specifications, Datasheets, Material Approval, and quality plan.
To help the planning engineer to prepare recovery plan.
Reviews and is responsible for all QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, ITP, project Quality Plans, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other important QA/QC document.
Make verification for the internal RFI submitted by construction that the work to be inspected is complete & in compliance with Engineering Standards and confirm to project requirement.
Perform Routine Surveillance, Quality Control Inspection of construction activities at various Inspection Stages such as Pre-Installation, Installation & Pre-Commissioning, and Final Inspection for various electrical equipment
Performed duties in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
Attending to inspection requests (IR’s) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specification and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual/ QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
Maintaining record for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
Preparing surveillance reports for deficiencies of work found at site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
Checking and ensuring effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
Reviewing of Material Approval request (MAR) for materials as per Design criteria/Standards.
Reviewing of IFC drawings packages and verifying as per standards/ specification.
Review Quality Documentation (ITP, Procedures, Drawings & Vendor Data Sheets, Material Specifications, and other Quality related documents submitted by Implementation Contractors) Pertaining to Electrical activities.
Promptly report unresolved quality deficiencies to Project Field Engineer, QA/QC Manager for further action.
Ensuring quality Control site surveillance, attending the Inspection & Test according to approved ITP.
Witnessing the Installation, Testing, and commissioning of ELV, LV and MV cable pulling, Termination, and testing at the site as per Client standards and procedures.
Inspection of Building indoor & outdoor lighting, Power GPO (General Purpose Outlets), LPPB (lighting Power Panel Board) and MDB (Main Distribution Board), Large & Small Power, Fire Alarm system.
Follow up & Inspection for installation of all electrical systems (lighting - power - cable routing System - electromechanical works coordination - Earthing - lightning Protection, CCTV.
Inspection of Cables, Cable Trays, Conduits, Cable Run systems (U/G) - Duct banks, Manholes, Cable Trenches, etc.
Witness various Electrical Tests (mentioned below) and verify the Test Reports.
Planning and Execution of Complete Electrical works.
Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Power System including Raceways, Wires, Cables, Distribution Board, Transformer, Switch Fuses, Isolators, Earthing, Socket Outlets, Floor Box, Diesel Generator, UPS and Capacitor Bank.
Engaged in design and installation of electrical power and lighting calculations, Load Calculation, electrical systems' design,
medium and low voltage systems, voice notification, lightning protection, emergency lighting, IT infrastructure and security systems
Ensure all required inspection & testing is completed and recorded on time upon completion of each phase of construction activities.
Coordinate with consultant and to get approval of site activities
Planning and execution of shut down works as per the schedule.
Work with Construction Supervisors, Schedulers, Planners and Project QA about development and implementation of QA plans for E & I.
Responsible for Implementation, supporting and following Quality Control standards, procedures, plans, strategies and systems on the project for supplying more efficient onsite construction work.
To ensure and verify work is executed in accordance with the contract Requirements, specifications, Approved Shop drawings and approved method statements.
Installation and testing of 415V switchgear, 11KV/415 KV transformers, motors for the Central Utilities Plant.
Installation and Testing of MCC, PFC’s, DB’s and Control panels and Control stations for the motors.
Responsible for the verification of the installation of the Electrical & Instruments by performing inspections as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and record the findings.
Installation and inspection of various types of HVAC systems includes package Units, split AC, chiller unit, AHU, DX units.
Organize technical meetings of Subcontractors along with PMC and Client to discuss Drawings, Materials, Delivery, Cost and Methodologies.
Involved in construction of High Raise Residential Buildings as Electrical Engineer supervising the works of Electrical, & Home Automation vendors.
To lead a team of supervisors & Foremen on site for resolving day-to-day work activities.
Supervisory work for temporary power for the construction site & colony.
Submit daily detail reports logging work progress & BOQ preparation of Electrical works.
Check & ensure all technical inputs like Drawings, testing for electrical, Home Automation, and all corrective measures are taken in case of discrepancies.
