Project Description: Comprehensive rehabilitation and expansion of KAIA's South Terminal complex, encompassing structural upgrades and MEP replacement in the existing terminal (Departures, Arrivals, Baggage Handling, and Mezzanine Offices), a new Group Check-In facility for Hajj/Umrah passengers, a new vertical circulation core, mosque renovation, car park upgrades, and new Passenger Services and Telecommunications buildings. Scope also covers extensive external works — landside/airside roadworks, drainage and dewatering systems, canopy and shade structure installation, and infrastructure upgrades across the KAIA boundary

Job Responsibilities involved:
Implement QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
Accountable for the quality of all activities, with precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction related to Civil, Infrastructure, Precast, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
Maintain all QA/QC-related records and documentation in accordance with the Method Statement (MST), Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Project Quality Plan (PQP), and Quality Management System (QMS).
Review the quality of all materials on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Liaise with the Client, Consultant, & Third-Party Inspectors regarding quality matters, including site activities.
Conducting site inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Resolve quality issues by identifying corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
Raise Internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) and Discrepancy Reports (DR’s) when activities deviate from contract specifications or standard construction industry practices.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Prepare/Closing of snag lists and punch lists after completion of works.
Manage and archive all project documentation upon project completion and handover.
Report to the QA/QC Director.
Supervision and execution of Civil / Infrastructure site activities as per approved drawings.
Supervision & Inspection of excavation, earthworks, & ground preparation, back-filling, compaction, and foundation, substructure, & superstructure of construction.
Inspect roads & pavement works and construction of sub-grade, sub-base, base course, and asphalt works.
Ensuring quality control of concrete, reinforcement, and formwork as per project specifications and standards.
Supervision of Landscape & Hardscape works, curbstones, paves tiles, and car-parking concrete, signage, road markings, and safety barriers.
Ensuring proper execution Drainage & Utility Works, correct installation and alignment, slope of manholes, stormwater drainage, sewer networks, potable water pipelines, catch basins, and culverts.
Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories for timely execution of field and lab tests.
Check/Audit and control batching plant, Monitor Mix design, Trial mix conducting and approvals.
Execution and installation of Precast structural elements such as walls panel, roof slabs, column footing, boundary wall, FRC septic tank & soak pit.
Supervision of erection and alignment of precast elements using cranes and lifting equipment.
Inspection of precast components for defects, cracks, and dimensional accuracy.
Supervision & Ensuring high-quality Architectural & finishing work in villa, including interior & exterior works.
Supervision of finishing works, including cmu block-work, plastering, tiling, painting, metal & wooden doors, aluminum glass windows, kitchen cabinets and other architectural components.
Supervision of facade & external works, metal ladder, main gate, canopy instillation,
Coordination with designers, architects, and interior teams for material selection and design modifications.
Ensuring proper execution of MEP utilities, including electrical plumbing works, before concrete casting.
Ensuring that MEP works are coordinated with civil and architectural works to prevent clashes / delay
Conducting T&C testing and commissioning of MEP systems before handover.
Implementation of (HSE) health, safety, and environmental regulations at the site.

Job Responsibilities involved:
• Quality verification and the physical witnessing, inspection, testing, acceptance or rejection of items,
equipment, and components in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for the Contract.
• Preparing Civil, Structure, Precast, Facade, and Architectural inspections including material inspections.
• Liaise with the consultant for resolving any issue at site regarding the quality of the work.
• Coordination with subcontractors and consultants site staff for QA/QC related activities.
