ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintaining the company's general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts, including posting and preparing opening, adjusting, and closing journal entries. Voucher entry, Bank Reconciliation daily purchase and sales entry, Day to day follow up with the management for payable and receivable by parties.
• Preparing financial statements including income statement, balance sheet.
• Performing bank reconciliations, performing account reconciliations between the general ledger and subsidiary ledger, account reconciliations between the general ledger and financial statements
• Maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounts.
• Check and identify accounts that are likely to become a bad debt or "zero balance" account and contact the clients to retain them;
• Conduct reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate clients. Answer the clients' questions and ensure their problems are resolved; conduct follow-up tasks.
• 1.5 years worked in SULZER INDIA LIMITED. Baroda (Gujarat) worked as an Accountant during Aug 2009 to Mar 2011.
