Here I am working as a QA/QC engineer . My main job is inspection of welding, visual and dimensional inspection of structural items. Inspection of panting and galvanizing. Preparation of inspection reports and all the related documents and maintaining it. I am involved in preparation of WPS, PQR, WQT. Before this I have worked in DUBAI in a power plant project as a QA/QC engineer.

 Reviewing Inspection test plan, Method statement, Quality Control Procedure as per relevant standard for approval.
 Witnessing PQR and Welder qualification testing for CS, LTCS, SS, DSS and CRA material.
.
 Fit-Up inspection as per AFC drawing & WPS. Visual inspection of welds & coordination’s with NDE requirements.
 Receiving inspection of all material including consumable as per relevant standards and approved for fabrication.
 Review of as built drawing.
 Reviewing of RT films & monitoring the PWHT, Witnessing of Hardness Testing, PT, MPT & UT activities.
 Witnessing Hydrostatic test for pipeline and piping jobs.
 Witnessing of Pneumatic testing, Leak Testing & all types of destructive testing (Lab testing) as per relevant standard.
 Shop & field inspection; installation & alignment of Static & Rotating Equipment with respect to the related standard, specifications, ITP & vendor manuals.
 Initiate Non-conformance Reports and Field Trouble Reports where quality deficiencies identified.
 Review of Test Packs and Discipline Certificates


Painting/Coating inspection :

 Witnessing Painting procedure and paint applicator qualification test as per project specification.
 Inspection of surface preparation from abrasives like copper slag, Garnet etc. prior to painting.
 Ensure the environmental conditions like Relative humidity, Dew point and Steel surface temperature etc.
 Ensuring the surface profile as per project specification.
 Ensuring the allowed salt contamination by Salt Contamination Meter as per project specification
 Inspection of mixing, thinning and application of painting as per Inspection and test Plan of the project.
 Ensure the dry film thickness and over coating interval before subsequent scheme painting.
 Inspection of the coating integrity by portable High voltage DC holiday detector.
 Inspection of coating adhesion by peel strength test.
 Reviewing daily painting/coating reports, Pinhole/Holiday detection report, adhesion test report etc…
 Review of Test Packs and Discipline Certificates.

 Preparation of Inspection Test Plan, Method Statement, Quality Control Procedure as per relevant standard and ensuring approval from Clint
 Liaise with the Company Site Representative for the conduct of day-to-day quality related activities of the project.
 PQR and Welder qualification testing for CS, LTCS, SS, DSS and CRA(nickel base) material.
 PQR and welder qualification of high pressure piping (ChapterIX)
 Fit-Up inspection as per AFC drawing & WPS. Visual inspection of welds & coordination’s with NDE requirements.
 Fit-Up and weld joint inspection of Vessels and structural items.
 Receiving inspection of all material including consumable as per relevant standards and approved for construction.
 Line checking & as built to compile with P&ID and Isometric drawing.
 Reviewing of RT films & monitoring the PWHT, Witnessing of Hardness Testing, PT, PMI & MPT activities & flange torqueing etc.
 Witnessing of Pneumatic testing, Hydrostatic Testing & all types of destructive testing as per required standard.
 Shop & field inspection; installation & alignment of Static & Rotating Equipment with respect to the related standard, specifications, ITP & vendor manuals.
 Verify calibration status of inspection and testing equipment is valid
 Initiate Non-conformance Reports and Field Trouble Reports where quality deficiencies identified.
 Preparation of Test Packs and getting approved by Clint.

 Conducting & monitoring of PQR, WQT and maintaining record.
 Inspection of Incoming material & welding Consumable as per relevant standard.
 Verification of Fit-up & Visual Inspection of weld.
 Monitoring of preheat and inter pass temperature, PWHT & welder performance.
 Dimensional inspection, review AFC Drawing & As built drawing.
 Witnessing of Hardness testing, PMI, MPT, PT, UT & Pneumatic & Hydro static Testing.
 Preparation of Weld History sheet of Weld Joints (On plot & Off plot)
 Checking over all status & weld joints offering to the NDT agency.
 Welder repair percentage analysis and tool box talks for welders to control repair percentage.
 Ensure Flange Tightening and Torquing As per Requirements.
 Review of welds radiography film.
 Inspection of HDPE line as per PDO specification, ITP & manufacture manual.
 Shop & field inspection; installation & alignment of Static & Rotating Equipment with respect to the related standard, specifications, ITP & vendor manuals.
 Preparation of all applicable documents (Test pack).

 Conducting & monitoring of PQR, WQT and maintaining record.
 Inspection of Incoming material & welding Consumable as per relevant standard.
 Verification of Fit-up & Visual Inspection of weld.
 Leading team of welders.
 Assigning job to the welders and setting target.
 Preparing daily progress report.
 Preparing offer list and engaging NDT teams
 Monitoring of preheat and interpass temperature, PWHT & welder performance.
 Inspection before, during and after welding.
 Dimensional inspection, review AFC Drawing & As built drawing.
 Witnessing of Hardness testing, PMI, MPT, PT, UT & Pneumatic & Hydrostatic Testing.
 Preparation of Weld History sheet of Weld Joints
 Checking over all status & weld joints offering to the NDT agency.
