Ensure the environmental conditions like Relative humidity, Dew point and Steel surface temperature etc.
Ensuring the surface profile as per project specification.
Ensuring the allowed salt contamination by Salt Contamination Meter as per project specification
Inspection of mixing, thinning and application of painting as per Inspection and test Plan of the project.
Ensure the dry film thickness and over coating interval before subsequent scheme painting.
Inspection of the coating integrity by portable High voltage DC holiday detector.
Inspection of coating adhesion by peel strength test.
Reviewing daily painting/coating reports, Pinhole/Holiday detection report, adhesion test report etc…
