In the last year of my bachelor's degree, I completed an internship with United Commercial Bank in my home country, Bangladesh. Though it was a brief job in the middle of a crisis, it was a joyous one.
I had a part-time job at a McDonald's restaurant close to my university. My goal was to improve my communication, management, and sales abilities. I had a great time working in a foreign environment away from home and meeting new people and cultures.
Before being admitted to my institution, I made use of my free time after college to tutor English to high school students who didn't come from an English-speaking educational background.
