▪ Reviewing approved ITP & Method of Statement for factory/site work, NDT testing
requirements and raising the relevant RFI’s according to ITP prior to start the
construction/production activities.
▪ Material verification @ all stages of inspection, Dimensional inspection, welding inspection,
Final visual Inspection
▪ Make sure the Inspection & Test Plan of each activity is fulfilled and “hold & witness points” of
the company's and client team are completed in due time.
▪ Ensure all operations are carried out in complete compliance with codes and standards (such as
checklist).
▪ Review and control the fabrication activities as per the ITP (i.e. H, W, and S)/ Contract
Specification / codes and Approved Drawing.
▪ Ensuring that project is being carried out as per the Standard, Client’s requirement, approved
method of statement and ITP
Fit-up Inspection: - Inspection of the fit-ups in the In-process stage with respect to visual,
dimensional and orientation compliance as per the approved drawings and specifications. To
inspect all types of assembly like Star - Column, Column Frame, Column, Beam, Truss,
Rafter, Crane - Girder, Jack Beam, Side-wall Column, Intermediate Column, H. & V.
Bracings, Pipe bracings, Angle Bracings etc. as per drawing.
▪ Knowledge of reading and making inspection of First Angle and Third angle projection
Welding inspection: - Familiar with most of the Welding Processes like SMAW, GTAW,
FCAW, GMAW, SAW & Stud Welding for CS, Mild steel, etc.
▪ Welder Qualification test (WQT) witness. Control of welding process as per applicable WPS &
PQR requirements. Have been experienced and well versed with the codes like AWS D1.1,
ASME Section IX. Monitoring and expedition of NDT requirements.Documentation: - Preparation of different types of documentation, inspection formats.
Preparation of final dossier for small projects, shipping documents (IRN). Documentation
control certificates & technical data as required by the customer such as NDT Reports, Final
Inspection Reports, Calibration Records, and Welder Performance Certificates etc. (MTC,
Visual/Dimensional Inspection Reports, Weld Map, WPS/PQR/WQRT, NDT Reports, and
Painting Inspection Reports) Review of Final Dossiers prior to acceptance of the product.
▪ Entering basic order events into job control system. Ensuring that the expediting guidelines are
followed in quality activities.
▪ Preparing Handing over documents for the project

Worked as Quality Engineer in Piping, Perform Pre-welding fit-up inspection, for root gap, Groove angle, root-face misalignment (Hi-low) as per approved WPS, orientation and Dimension, Line check as per approved IFC drawing, Line check to verify the visual InspectionInspection of welding of piping joints
