# Responsible for sourcing of Transport Network equipments & service for 11 OpCos of VEON group.
# Run the Global Tenders to meet OpCo needs through achieving best price across the group.
# Supports and advise the management on the spend of this category, benchmarked globally, leveraging Group knowledge.
# Works closely with the Global team to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
# Transformation of local procurement professionals into a virtual Group team to execute the strategy and deliver the annual savings targets, as well as enhanced capabilities and innovation where applicable.
# Deliver results in key performance areas including cost management, market & financial forecast accuracy, service & quality.

# Supervise a team as a managerial role of Direct Procurement with the responsibilities for International & Local Procurement activities.
# Lead Buyer for Core, Transport, Access, VAS, QoS and IN category Network Equipment Procurement.
# Active Participation as an Expert Group Member in a Category A Tender (conducted by HQ category manager).
# Accountable for analyzing the supplier financial proposal, TCO evaluation and negotiation strategy innovation.
# Active involvement in the yearly Procurement Master Plan preparation and Technical budget review.
# Identify and drive cost reductions, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements, process efficiencies, risk mitigation and standardization across businesses.
# Negotiate and execute contracts with the vendors as per requirement of quality, cost and delivery.
# Evaluate and review the techno commercial procurement contracts and agreements in accordance with standards to achieve company's best interest.
# Providing different commercial data to Group Level and Management related to procurement for their analysis and decision makings.

# Scrutinize project requirement for machinery/ equipment/ services and assess the technical aspects.
# Assist in final closure of all procurement documentation.
# Meet with User Requirement Specification to ensure full understanding of the purchase to satisfy the need of the End Users.
# Initiate any requirement for changes, extension and/or amendment to the contract and take necessary approval from management accordingly.
# Provide associated support service and information on contracting activities.
