Reporting to the Chief Executive on matters in relation to the performance of the Project Company against contract requirements.
• To lead on all construction aspects of the Board’s work, providing strategic and professional guidance to the Contracts Manager and the Technical Manager.
• To build an effective partnering culture with the Project Company to ensure collaborative effort is applied where appropriate
• Overall responsibility for ensuring that the Board fulfils its obligations under the Project Agreement
• Liaison with Council, Project Company, Sub-Contractors and Advisors ensuring the delivery of high quality within contract timescales
• Provide the Board and interested third parties with advice and expertise on critical issues regarding the project, and implementation
• Set targets, objectives and clear responsibilities for all supervised staff, progressively monitor individual performance against the agreed criteria and conduct formal appraisals in keeping with time frames
• Deal with the escalation of contract disputes to support the delivery of Permit to Use on time.
• Ensure that Contracts and Technical Teams follow all agreed control procedures.
• Administer any risk sharing arrangements with the Project Company
Palm Hills Developments (PHD) is a leading real estate company in the Egyptian market; primarily developing high-end, integrated residential, mixed use, and resort projects.
Projects Size are around 7 Billion LE
• Cost Estimation of new scope of work
• Initial Projects Budgets to monitor project cost performance
• Developing Cost Breakdown for staff and Construction equipment hours and advise project expected costs
• Developing Resources Cost budgets to show projects needs of resource requirements
• Update Projects Costs Database including collecting relevant project information from the various disciplines
• Reviewing and commenting on Contractor's Construction Variation Requests. Also be responsible for providing input to Purchase Order evaluation against the Estimation/Budget costs
• Reviewing, Estimating and commenting on Client Variation Requests Costs
• Providing feedback of project costs and productivity to the Business Development and Finance & Administration Departments to consider for prospective new work.
• Detailed Cost Estimation of Miscallaneous scope of work with reference to Norms and market rates
• In liasion with the Cost Control Department Establish a WBS for the new scope of work
• Review of Projects Budgets to ensure integraty of the budget values
• Based on the Project over all plan, developing Cost Breakdown for Manpower, Equipment, Materials, Outsourcing .etc.
• Verify Projects needs of resources and review of each resource production rates
• Based on the exising Cost reprots, Estimation Manager should provide lessons learnt to update the Projects Costs Database to enhance cost and production rates forecasting values
• Reviewing Variation Requests & Clients Variations Orders raised by different disciplines or parties
• Act as liaison between partners, associates, consultants, subcontractors and construction sites to make sure that their own schedules are coherent with the general schedule,
• Dealing with Project Management Companies “ECG, Ehaf, Crown and coordinating with consultants and contractors
• Coordinating Contractors and Consultants baseline/master programs
• Reviews contract/tendering documentation, to ensure a thorough understanding of the contract requirements.
• Co-ordinate/support the activities of the mobilization team to ensure that all necessary activities are reviewed with actions properly assigned, timescales agreed and relevant parties properly briefed with new communication channels established where necessary.
• Establish along with relevant Managers, the required resources for relevant parts of the project,
• Optimize and approve Projects schedules,
• Asses and influence content of client/partner construction drawings and procedures, prior to issue, in order that construction execution is optimized in the most cost effective and timely manner.
• Co-ordinate in conjunction with relevant staff, the development and establishment of the Construction Schedule together with the mechanisms for monitoring subsequent progress against that schedule.
• Ensure that corrective action is agreed and implemented at the appropriate level where variation from plans occurs.
• Establish project Management System
• Preparing Weekly and Monthly progress reports.
• Ensure that Project Monitoring system is implemented properly
• Seek relevant technical advice and guidance in the event of any contractual/legal matters or complications to ensure that appropriate action is taken which does not compromise or expose the company to unnecessary risk.
• Establish effective monitoring and reporting systems based on Earned Value System.
• Review and assess the integrity, frequency and value of Weekly and Monthly Reports
• Review Time Extension Claims from Subcontractors.
• Maintain under regular review, the demobilization plans of the workforce and plant as the project progresses
• Monitor equipment, materials, buildings and other assets during demobilization.
• Conduct/participate in a formal review of the project with relevant parties
• Provide a liaising/co-ordination role between sites based management, Head Office and partners, providing guidance, advice and resources
• Monitor performance of suppliers and sub-contractors
• Supervising “temporary” The Estimation Department. My duties as Estimation Manager are:
a) Review and approve unit prices for all claims and variation orders.
b) Active member of value engineering team.
c) Preparing preliminary budget for any new projects
• Establish a logistics communication procedure to be able to manage Projects Control tasks.
• Timely allocation, distribution and assessment of manpower resource to project in accordance with qualification / skills requirements.
• Prompt monitoring and reporting project manpower census, movements and utilization.
• Periodic Analysis of project manpower requirements projection against available resource to be able to initiate in-kingdom sourcing arrangements with project management and/or personnel requisitions for out-of-kingdom sourcing by HRD.
• Analyzing cost & revenue trends and reporting problems or potential problems to Executive Management.
• Maintaining controls records for the duration of the project.
• Archiving controls records as required.
• Preparation of project schedule after contract award. This includes the original baseline schedule, manpower and equipment schedule and all subsequent field working schedules required per the contract requirements.
• Monitoring, reporting and forecasting project cost & revenue trends.
• Analyzing cost revenue trends and reporting problems or potential problems to Project Management.
• Monitoring, reporting and forecasting actual versus scheduled progress, productivity and reporting problems or potential problems to Project and Executive management.
• Recommending solutions to above problems where possible.
• Responsibilities included hiring a full team work and fully training them to prepare and execute project execution plans.
Project Summary:
The Qatargas II Common Sulfur Project will be executed and operated by the Joint Venture, Qatargas II (QG II), formed by Qatar Petroleum (QP) and ExxonMobil (EM). Other Sulfur Producers located in Qatar Ras Laffan are expected to join the JV in the future.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for all Project Controls areas and support to the Project Preparation of the Project Master Schedule. Negotiate scope with the client.
My duties was but not limited to:
• Development and maintenance of project plans (including scope, schedule, and budget).
• Developing, managing, updating and monitoring individual project time schedules, progress reports and integrated overall master program schedule in conjunction with project team members
• Developing, managing and monitoring and controlling program and project specific budgets, cash flow projections and forecasts, including analysis of performance using Earned-Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Developing Progress S-Curves.
• Working with all schedulers for design consultants, construction management consultants, contractors, and program management team members and client staff to obtain the latest schedules in the appropriate program format for each phase (planning, design, construction, start-up) and task (including ROW, permits, and environmental) and incorporate into monthly schedule
• Establishing and ensuring scheduling and cost control standards are implemented on all projects
• Interfacing and maintaining liaison with project management, stakeholders, client, contractor, and other consultants on all project controls related activities
• Work in a manner to ensure my personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies
• Ensuring that all aspects of the work are successfully completed.
• Interfacing extensively with site engineers and Prepare necessary correspondence for the Project Manager.
• Administrating the site, including supervision and evaluation of associated subordinate personnel in accordance with SofiSat policies and procedures.
• Preparation of 3-Weeks look ahead schedules.
• Interfacing with planning department to modify and update the project Master schedule.
• Monitor work progress.
• Supervision and direction the site engineers.
• Establishing a good work relationship with the client.

My duties include the direct supervision of Project Control department, cost control department, CADD department, Documentation department and Design department
I’m responsible for:
• Revision and approval of project Master Schedule.
• Ensuring timely completion of all design activities involved with preparation of planning and detail construction drawings; including Amended System Planning Drawings (ASPD), Construction Civil Drawings (CDI), Construction Primary Cable Detail Drawings (CDII), Construction Manhole Detail Drawings (CDIII), Construction Secondary Cable Detail Drawings (CDIV), Key Maps, Distribution Schematics, Shop Drawings and Typical Designs. This includes direct supervision of Engineers and Field Assistants.
• Tracking and ensuring productivity in accordance with drawing delivery schedules, ensuring adherence to quality control procedures from drawing initiation through final revision for submittal, and any subsequent Variation Order additions or revisions.
• Preparation and completion of As-Built drawings from construction force updated redline drawings.
• Preparation of Project Master schedule As-Built
• Preparation of Site Materials requirements according to Time schedule.
• Updating and maintaining all documents upon completion of construction phases.
• Following up of construction, Procurement & Design activities to update project master schedule.
• Material Specification, Qualification and Coordination.
• Coordination of all Engineering tasks of remote Engineering offices.
Working as a consulting Engineer for the PSTN Project at Lebanon (1, 000, 000 Lines)
My duties were:
• Consult and Inspect the Project for the South Lebanon Area.
• Prepare the Clarification guidelines for the Project.
• Precede the Provisional acceptance tests.
• Precede the final acceptance tests.
• Revision of the red lines drawings.

All these Projects under consultancy of Detecon (Deutsch Telecommunication consultant).
In charge of:
• Surveying and Dividing of Agricultural Lands.
• Supervising digging of Canals and Drains.
• Covering the Canal by Plane Concrete (Manual and Mechanical).
• Constructing Irrigation Outlets and Other Irrigation Projects (Siphons, Bridges and Weirs).
• Supervising of Central Mixing M/C.
