Principle Tasks, Roles, and Responsibilities as a Consultant Engineer: - 1. Conduct supervision responsibilities in adherence to guidelines as indicated in the PACE Supervision Manual; ensure that supervision guidelines are always being adhered to by site electrical engineers. 2. Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in the selection and approval of sub-contractors for electrical systems in coordination with the owner's/client's representative. 3. Review all shop, composite and As-Built drawings, materials, and samples submitted by the contractors to ensure compliance with technical specifications and ministerial requirements. 4. Assist in resolving any issues raised by contractors (e.g., requirements for time extensions, change order requests, variations, etc.); inform the RE. of any discrepancies identified against contract documents and make recommendations to the Resident Engineer as appropriate. 5. Study the contractor's CCS schedule thoroughly (e.g., shop drawing submittal log, procurement schedule, and material submittal log, etc.) prior to its approval by the Resident Engineer. 6. Inspect all procured electrical components and materials and ensure that material on site is being adequately stored and protected prior to their installation. 7. Check all sample electrical components and materials submitted by contractors; ensure compliance against ministerial requirements and technical specifications. 8. Supervise the installations of electrical systems on a daily/regular basis to ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents and approved material and shop drawings. 9. Ensure that non-compliance to the CCS is communicated to the RE. on a timely basis in order to avoid any delays in construction. 10. Remain abreast of changes in local ministerial requirements regarding electric systems; ensure that any changes are updated in the specifications of electrical components/materials etc. 11. Contribute to managing the health and safety of all on-site personnel; report any observed safety violations to the Resident Engineer and/or Safety Inspector (if available). 12. Attend meetings (e.g., progress meetings, coordination, specially called meetings, etc.) as and when required. 13. Assist Sr. Quantity Surveyors in preparing progress reports and in verifying costs related to electrical system installations in order to finalize monthly payment certificates. 14. Lead snagging procedure to check electrical systems after substantial completion of construction activities has ended; ensure that a snag list is prepared based on outstanding works and submit it to the Resident Engineer for approval. 15. Review all as-built drawings provided by contractors prior to their submittal to local ministries for approval. 16. Review all operation, instruction, and maintenance manuals provided by contractors prior to handing over the development to the owner/client.

Principle Tasks and Responsibilities of the Construction Projects: 1- Review & study project-related contractual documents such as specifications, Bill of quantities, Drawings, addendums, etc. and meet with Consultant & Client to discuss the submission schedules, progress updates, production status, quality, and efficiency of drawings and get approval from consultant engineer. 2- Responsible for following up, preparing & reviewing all electrical and Low Voltage shop drawings according to project contractual documents & Kuwait authority requirements. 3- Responsible for making coordination with all other related activities such as and not limited to Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, HVAC, PH, Elevators, LV, AV/IT, Security, CCTV, etc. 4- Responsible to supervise and monitor the site workers through site supervisors and monitoring the subcontractor's work as per contract specifications and client requirements. 5- Attending all project meetings with the Consultant, Client, and contractors and updating Site Engineers/Supervisor's on-site work progress. 6- Responsible to prepare Material Submittal documents for Consultant & Client Approval. 7- Responsible to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on-site at any time. 8- Preparation of Monthly Electrical payment certification based on the progress report. 9- Responsible for checklists submission and approval from consultant for approval. 10- Responsible for installation, Testing, Pre-Commissioning, and commissioning activities of all the electrical & Low voltage systems. 11- Follow up with MEW in order to take approval for Electrical AS Built Drawing and energize the Electrical Power Supply to the project. 12- Coordinate with my team to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, standard O & M methods and procedures, international codes for material, and tolerance limits. 13- Carry out Preventive & corrective maintenance works as per the O & M manuals and company procedure with less time and prepare to stay overnight to complete the job. 14- Maintain the required essential spares for the smooth operation plant. 15- Review and study all equipment and system catalogs, brochures, and details and elaborate on its items and installation, operation, and commissioning methods. 16- Report to the Project Manager the work progress including contract compliance, needs, and requirements on daily basis. 17- Review with the Project Manager the current activities and suggest revisions in the work plan, if required for a time-efficient recovery and shall identify the root causes of delay to prevent its recurrence. 18- Coordinate with Electrical sub-contractors and guide them to overcome day-to-day operation problems. 19- Make material requisitions and order quantities without a shortage of supply or stock that may adversely affect the operation of the plant. 20- Update Operation and Maintenance Manuals with lists of Spare Parts and Services Procedures complying with the contract requirements.
