● Release raw materials for production after QC testing
● Performed analysis of incoming raw materials as well as finished fragrances using
instruments such as Densitometer, Colorimeter, GC, Refractive Index, polarimeter
● Performed daily sensory set up for panelists to evaluate the quality of raw materials
and finished products.
● Conducted routine activities with moderate guidance and supervision
● Performed analytical testing of raw materials, intermediate products and finished
fragrances using different analytical techniques
● Prepared laboratory reagents, standards and solutions for test procedures and aided

compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines

● Initiate retests and issue pass or fail accordingly
● Rework batches by blending if appropriate
● Check and enter all test results onto the QC System with due regard for the
specification
● Issue concession forms for raw materials to be checked before use.
● Assist production with any queries relating to a formula or raw material
● Discuss fragrance variation with the sales team before dispatch
● Record all non-conformances and adjust stock as necessary
● Investigate and answer customer complaint in a timely manner using analytical
department whenever required.
● File all bottles and pack sheets away and do the necessary storage
● Generate Certificate of Analysis and specifications whenever required
● Check and order lab consumables when required
