Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organisation’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organisation.
My responsibilities included:
Designing, implementing and facilitating an effective local and national marketing strategy
Improving business development activities
Responsible for the achievement of marketing/communications/public relations mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives
Managing daily activities with PR, press and marketing communication agencies
Developing partnerships and relationships with third parties to meet strategic objectives
Coordinating media interest in the organisation and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests
Identify key marketing opportunities
Directing development of interactive, direct marketing, media, creative, sales promotion and PR strategies
Overseeing social media PR strategies
Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery
Managing supplier relationships
Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team
Editing in Photoshop and Indesign
Designing and creating the company profile
Organising photo shoots - photographer
• Plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the OIRD project
• Prioritizing communications and public relations needs
• Demonstrating strong critical thinking skills in establishing key goals for the project and conducing public relations process planning
• Developing short- and long-term public relations strategies
• Composing press releases, brochures and other public relations documents to enhance long and short term communication program and prepare position paper, reports, presentations and speeches
• Insuring connection with several partners
• Serving as a key member of the International missions (USA - KENYA - TANZANIA - CHINA)
• Coordinating the organisation of the 5 main poles of the project
• Organizing public events and conferences
• Developing, implementing and managing events: organizing trade fairs, conferences, away days, product launches…
• Maintaining a calendar of events for effective long term planning and management
• Conducted research to identify new opportunities for bringing about innovation in events
• Conduct meetings concerning the event with clients
• Managed and developed a strategic plan of action to ensure that the cost of the event remains under the pre-determined budget
• Worked on determining a suitable layout and theme for the event
• Facilitated communication with professionals, including venue management, stand designers, caterers, contractors and equipment rentals to ensure efficient running of an event
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing invoices of the company
• Organizing the annual report of the company
