I have worked with undergraduate and postgraduate students with different majors in mixed-ability classes. I have been designing courses that respond to students' current and potential needs taking into account target situations. I easily build rapport with students to favor a stimulating learning environment in which they can try their hands at using the language in lifelike situations.
Outside the classroom, I work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common objectives.
I graduated from the Higher Institute for Living Languages in Tunis with a BA in English Language and Literature. During my years at university, we studied phonetics, linguistics, micro-teaching, structure, grammar, etc. All these subjects proved to be of great use throughout my teaching experience as they were easily transferable to the classroom. With my classes as a teacher, I continued to learn with students, yet most importantly, I have learned how to accompany students on their learning journeys by offering tips I personally needed when working on my proficiency in English.
