Planning & Managing the ongoing implementation & support of the ERP across companies. Setting up the Project Management Principles & regular assessment of the progress.
Working as per the vision of the senior management to successfully define the best business practices for the company and defining new policies & procedures if
required.
Planning & Managing the Replication of the product implementation to other group companies with minimum teething issues.
Managing the departmental ERP application support and providing the guidelines to the business users for optimal usage.
Coordinate with the IT department for the required IT infrastructure for the smooth operations with respect to ERP application.
Ensuring zero downtime during the working hours.
Responsible for the regular performance monitoring & auditing of the ERP system.
Establishing the reporting system for the regular business operations and MIS in line with ERP structure and database etc.
• The purpose of the job is to deliver the Oracle R12 with optimum quality and time to market the business requirements for the Internal Departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, and HR etc.
• In alignment with the du’s business objectives, the responsibility for a successful implementation of ERP R12 functional upgrade project.
• Overseeing the project scope, risks, communications, issue management, vendor management and ensuring satisfaction of project objectives.
• Holding regular weekly and monthly project review meetings between implementation vendors, project team and monitoring and controlling the project progress.
• Responsible for the Stakeholders review meeting on a periodical basis.
• Managing internal departments including Business, IT, TSRM (Transactional Security & Risks Management), Application support, Billing & Business Intelligence to achieve project objectives on time.
• Managing the implementation of various integration softwares with Oracle ERP for optimum satisfaction of business.
• Aligning the vendors involved in the implementation for various phases of the projects in align with the project plan for a successful completion of activities and phases. For e.g.
o Implementation vendors
o Testing Vendors
o UAT vendors
o Business Intelligence Vendors
o Application Support Vendors
• Pre-Sales Engagement with sales team to materialize the deal for the company.
• Responsible for the Preparation of Project Plan, Identifying the Resources, allocation & management, change request and scoping during the life cycle of the project.
• Responsible for the project communication between project teams and stakeholders involved.
• Applying the business strategic decisions for the benefit of the company.
• Meeting with module owners to communicate, understand, analyze and document the requirements within the scope of delivery. Baseline the requirements as per the best practices followed, signed by stakeholders and kick start knowledge transfer to development unit for solution designing, customization and software delivery on time in an onsite - offshore business model & Monitoring the progress.
• Responsible for the documentation & recording of all phases of the projects as per the scope defined.
• Monitor & control the Test cases & Masters data preparation by customer & get the application verified for the successful completion of Training, UAT & Go Live.
• Active Involvement to ensure that the infrastructure is in place before the installation of application at site. And suggest the procurement of the necessary tools.
• Responsible for the Installation of developed software on client server environment and test the remote connectivity if any and start preparation for the end user training.
• Set up system roles, users, data security, custom menus, workflow configuration, approval threshold alerts, etc. to plan and start the end user Training.
• Responsible for conducting training & UAT sessions for the module owners & end users with active involvement of customer’s project manager in a tightly control change process environment.
• Monitoring and answering client’s requests in addition to designing and conducting ERP training to clients and supporting them onsite and offsite.
• Planning the migration of legacy system data to new system, reconcile the balances and successfully go live with minimal teething issues.
• Preparation & arrangements for the Go-Live phase in accordance with the company’s policy and user availability to minimize the project delays.
• Adhere to the timelines of project deliverables and align the resources accordingly ensuring guidance, assistance, training, and other forms of coordination and support within the team and to the customers for smooth implementation.
• Preparing & monitoring weekly project status report and resolving variances to avoid project delays.
• Responsible for Monitoring & Controlling Project Scoping, Planning, Implementing and tracking of projects progress as per the project scope and resource allocation for timely completion of the project.
• Following Kick-Off, RSP, RDD, Development, Training, UAT, Go Live and Sign off Model of implementation
• Serving as a Team Leader for assigned projects; ensuring guidance, assistance, training, and other forms of coordination and support within the team and to the customers for smooth implementation
• Monitoring & Controlling Project progress as per the project scope and resource allocation for timely completion of the project.
• Responsible for the communication of project status between project teams and project sponsors.
• Seeking Initiative in Pre-Sales activities.
• Preparation of Project Plan and get it approved from the customer.
• Preparing & monitoring weekly project status report, reviewed from PMO office and resolving variances to avoid project delays.

• Gathering & analysing business requirements, GAP preparation, Solution Designing, Knowledge Transfer to the technical department for customisation and software delivery on time in an onsite - offshore business model.

o Project Management Module for discreet manufacturing and WPS based verticals incorporating accrual based Work in Progress Accounting logic; the module is successfully working in various implementations
o Multi-stage Production, Multi-Stage Production Roll Up Costing and Financial Posting Module for process manufacturing; passed the User Acceptance test in an ongoing implementation
