- Conduct technical assessment of repair and rehabilitation needs in each target sites, using an inclusive and participatory process to identify and select buildings where rehabilitations can have the biggest impact to improve the safety and accessibility of infrastructures.
- Organise consultations with local communities, key stakeholders and authorities, and representatives to assess safety and rehabilitation needs in the target site.
- Liaise with local/national government representatives during the assessment and selection process to ensure local acceptance and appropriation sustainability of the works.
- Support the Project Manager in presenting the proposed QIP initiatives during a selection panel with the donor, including justifications for the selection; detailed discussion on the technical requirements and approach; and the expected outcome of the QIP for the target community.
- Contribute to the preparation of tender documents and evaluation of technical criteria in tender bids.
- Conduct technical assessments of sub-contractors and develop bill of quantities (BOQ) for rehabilitation and repair works.
- Supervise construction sites and works and equipment deliveries of sub-contractors.
- Advise on project activities, consultations regarding contract development and technical specifications for all construction-related projects.

My role include the following responsibilities:
• Acting project manager 2 Months) Conducting Project Review Meeting with program coordinator and Head of Mission Reporting to Program Coordinator Liaise with governmental officers Coordinating with the Finance and Logistic departments regarding procurement of suppliers and materials
• Design technical initial evaluation in the selected areas to determine building rehabilitation needs
• Conduct assessment visits and technical evaluation in line with design criteria
• Define the Bill of Quantities and the specification of the works required
• provide technical advice in the selection of construction company to perform works
• Provide comprehensive and detailed reports about the conducted assessments according to project manager requirements
• Contribute to the preparation of tender documents and evaluation of technical offers
• Liaise with governmental engineers/officers and with UNHCR technical staff in the coordination and realization of the works.
Accomplishments
• Supervised 18 Quick Impact Projects ( in Tripoli and southern region of Libya Responsibilities include monitoring WASH activities and rehabilitation works
• Participated in the enhancement of essential WASH services and waste management in 4 municipalities
• General and technical site supervision of civil works at different
public projects such as rehabilitation of power stations, and
governmental buildings including schools and clinics.
• Worked on planning and executing civil works constructions in
accordance with civil contractors.
• Monitor progress of projects as per the schedule agreed.
• Perform engineering work with the civil design discipline team on
rehabilitation and construction Works.
• Undertake construction supervision and perform inspection of
materials and equipment to be installed and check all received
materials at construction site against damages.
