Key Result Areas:
Managing projects encompassing planning, design, estimation, scope definition, finalization of techno-commercial aspects
and implementing quality standards
Reviewing, commenting & approving MEP submittals including Method Statements, Material Transmittals,
Prequalification and Shop Drawings submitted by subcontractors
Verifying & validating the equipment layout as per the AutoCAD design; installing the components as per the
design in accordance with projects’ environmental conditions & applications; resolving site queries to meet execution
requirements; understanding technical & functional specifications
Preparing periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes,
up-coming activities & safety records
Analyzing MEP requirements to determine feasibility of designs; resolving design issues and suggesting solution
Drafting various MIS reports (EVM reports, critical action reports & risk analysis reports) to clients and internal
management and apprised the management regarding progress & areas of risk for immediate action
Guiding cross-functional teams to manage various project works; supervising matters pertaining to local statutory
bodies, architects, and process technologists to troubleshoot customer issues
Maintaining coordination with consultants, municipality and DDA; conducting rate analysis of cost schedule of rate/
extra items as per prevailing market prices; coordinating for certification of Contractor Bills and with the Finance Dept. for
release of payment
Administering final systems handing over by following up with MEP relevant S/Cs in terms of installation, testing,
commissioning, certifying, training and delivering in accordance with project specifications and approved drawings
Negotiating with vendors for right sourcing; evaluating vendor’s performance in terms of quality, delivery and
service for achieving cost effective purchases of machine/equipment suppliers; raising PO for supply & work orders
Preparing documents for invitation of bids for projects including specifications, finalization of requirements & BOQ;
negotiating, reviewing and awarding contracts as per contract regimes
Estimated preliminary cost for construction and upgradation; inviting evaluating proposals & appointing contractors
Supervising Quality Management Systems across various stages of procurement to reduce rejection levels and
ensuring high quality standards in construction by maintaining Documentation & Data Management; organizing consultant
visits, municipality, DEWA & DCD inspections
Maintaining & reviewing general contract and subcontract / suppliers documents and ensuring all contractual
documents are dealt appropriately
Preparing monthly invoice for client and consultant submission, Subcontractor progress billing invoice & Weekly &
Monthly progress report and daily site report
Implementing high level safety standards and ensuring for safe execution of jobs
Implementing QA/QC procedures; conducting Audits & various inspections; ensuring the structures are in
compliance with pre-defined structural as well as architectural specifications
Checking & monitoring material quality received from vendors/ suppliers; addressing issues related to subcontractors’
quality in execution of the work
Developing network with Client, Architects, Consultants, Vendors, Subcontractors, Consultants-architectural, Structural,
Sanitary, Electrical, Interior Designers and Suppliers for ascertaining technical specifications, construction related essentials,
based on the prevalent rules, codes and aesthetical consideration
Actively detecting faults, responding to breakdowns & repairing equipment in order to reduce the breakdown
time; supervising with engineering and technical staff
Conducting preventive maintenance ensuring ISO document preparation with records of all Operations &
Maintenance activities including statistical and financial records as per pre-decided schedules
