The project is to develop a new PTB ( Passenger Terminal Building of 195, 000 m2) including associated facilities in order to handle up to 13, 5 Mpax per year with a level of services B as defined by IATA.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Attend design meetings with Client/ consultants.
• Coordination and monitoring of design process.
• Review and approve all related MEP design documents.
• Manage and participate in value engineering exercises.
• Participate in carrying out all the required tendering process, tender evaluation and pre-qualification of all consultants and contractors.
• Participate in tendering and awarding of any construction and consultancy packages.
Follow-up project execution, monitoring the electro-mechanical site team performance and progress achieved, ensure that works are done in accordance with contract requirements, schedule baseline, quality standard and in safe manner, coordinate between different engineering disciplines, providing technical recommendation and appropriate actions required to resolve technical problems, chair the progress and technical meetings, monitor and control the flow of material submittals, shop drawings, technical queries, method statements, ITPs, invoices, claims, variation orders. . Etc,
• Attend design meetings with consultants/contractors.
• Coordination and monitoring of design process and design review and approval.
• Tender and award of any construction and consultancy packages.
• Manage and participate in value engineering exercises.
• Manage design deliverable according to project priorities and approved time schedule.
• Review and approve the Mechanical project schedules such as engineering, procurement and construction.
• Manage and carry out all the required tendering process, tender evaluation and pre-qualification of all consultants and contractors.
