• Receives and provides detailed turnover to the incoming shift.
• Conducts multiple daily routine to assigned areas.
• Recommend preventive maintenance and or undertake minor repairs when possible.
• Read, analyze and interpret process parameters.
• Responds to the control room operator instructions.
• Records critical activities via operators log and abnormalities via SR.
• Safe operation of equipment by following SOP’s.
• Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping.
• Knowledgeable in start-up and shutdown of Raw Water pre-treatment, desalination and demineralization system.
• Conducts CIP of UF, RO and ECP facility.
• Demineralization system regeneration.
• Act as a designated person in PTW issuance and cancellation.
• Perform emergency response duties as Fire Team Member.
• Adheres with the company’s health and safety requirement whenever working in the plant premises.

• Ensure that the Company’s Project Loss Prevention Plan is followed across the Organization.
• Ensure that all the personnel entering the site had undergone safety induction.
• Promote safety Awareness and encourage workers by giving safety reminders and toolbox talks related to the activities they perform.
• Coordinate with the Construction group for the Safety Requirements in every activity before it starts.
• Comply with the Client’s Safety Standard. (5 Star HSMS)
• Act as the secretary in Safety Committee and ensure that the minutes are kept every after meeting.
• Prepare Monthly Reports, Weekly Reports, Daily Reports to Immediate Superiors and Client in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation and review of Risk Assessment for each Activity.
• Ensure that the fire-fighting equipment are available and in good condition by conducting monthly inspection and color coding.
• Encourage co-workers to safety by giving awards and recognitions and by participating in company’s safety activities.
• Conduct scheduled site safety inspections and ensure that the unsafe act and unsafe condition observed are rectified in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the safety requirements like signage, permit, PPE’s, etc. are taken into consideration before any activities starts.
• Enforce proper housekeeping at site.
• Conduct internal training necessary for specific job or activity.
• Conduct inspection of any equipment/tool entering the site and make sure that monthly color coding for the tools is being followed.
• Identify and meet employees training needs in relation to health and safety.
• Coordinate closely to all the personnel at site for the effective emergency drills.
• Contribute on building the safety culture of the company by implementing, monitor if implemented and develop Project Safety Plan or Project Loss Prevention Plan.

• Operates and monitors plant facilities and equipment base on standard operating procedures, method, guidelines and work instruction and ensure condition of the equipment by proper operation and maintenance.
• Gathers and adjust process parameters such as pressure, temperature, level, flow and amperage.
• Knowledgeable in operating, start up and shutdown of plant facilities located at areas such as Process Area (RO Facilities, Recovery, Reactors, Raw Materials), Utilities Area (Steam, Air, Water, Nitrogen, Fuel, DEG and Auxiliaries), Drying and Packing Area.
• Replenish storage tanks to desired level using pump (Centrifugal, positive displacement, pneumatic.)
• Isolation of lines and equipment, blinding and de-blinding of valves, purging of inert gas, O2 displacement, depressurization before handling to maintenance prior to any repair and configuration.
• Act as first line maintenance in activities such as valve replacement, changeover and cleaning of in-line and bucket strainers.
• Assist delivery personnel in replenishment of N2, HCL, NaOH following the existing safe work instructions.
• Conduct cleaning of vessels by use of jet water cleaning equipment.
• Perform regeneration of CATION and ANION exchange resins to efficiently produce PURE WATER necessary for plant process use.
• Participate for the continuous improvement/development of the plant processes, method and work instructions by rendering KAIZEN proposals.
• Reports any abnormalities, unusual observations directly to DCSO and Shift Manager.
• Prepare and submit work request to maintenance department. Checks and inspect work request upon completion of activity.
• Conduct monthly inspection of Fire Fighting Equipment such as Fire extinguisher and Fire Hydrant accessories.
• Receives and handles raw materials in small or bulk amount with the help of lift trucks. i. e. Forklift.
• Conducts storage inventories, packaging reports including the cause of delay if there’s any.
• Analyze data’s in absence of QC personnel and report directly to the DCS Operator or to the Shift Manager assigned.
• Responds to any turnaround activities, Shutdowns and grade change.
• Inspect and terminate cold, hot, confined space permits for the work done by the contractor on the area assigned.
• Rendering overtime works whenever needed.
• Completely logs the activities held on the area of responsibility.
• Perform complete and detailed turnover to the next process operator assigned.
• Respond, communicate and cooperate as a part of an Emergency Response Group whenever emergency arises.
• Receive raw material (VCM) from jetty to spherical tanks by directly coordinating to DCS operator and strictly follow work instruction.
Abide with the companies’ quality, safety and environmental policy.

 Ensure that the company’s Health and Safety Policy is implemented across the organization.
 Develop, monitor if implemented and improve safety and health policy, procedures or work methods.
 Conducts periodic site safety inspections and ensure that the controls measures and closing of issues are performed in a timely manner.
 Consult employees on health and safety issues, support and develop the role of health and safety committee including arranging and attending meetings.
 Work with the safety manager and staff to ensure risk assessment are prepared and reviewed.
 Ensure routine health and safety activities and inspections are carried out. (Testing of Portable tools and equipment, PFAS, Electrical tools, etc.).
 Lead the contractor safety meeting and ensure that the issues are resolved in a timely manner.
 Investigate or, where appropriate, assist others, investigate the circumstances and cause of accidents and take effective measures to prevent recurrence including keeping written records of investigation and action taken.
 Participate in the weekly safety walkthrough together with the contractors and the client.
 Work hand to hand with the safety advisor and ensure that the safety requirements are met throughout the duration of the project.
