Normally, facility inspector must possess the right mix of technical knowledge, work experience or combination of certifications and previous related experience. I perform and check the structural quality and general safety of buildings. In addition to examining structural quality facility inspectors examine all building systems and features, including roofing, exterior walls, parking area, foundation of the building, interior, plumbing, electrical, HVACR systems and Fire alarm system. I usually look for the report and various safety violations and examining the sound conditions and if they are functioning properly including some of the commercial kitchen equipment. Examine the installation of systems that ensure the safety and health of the drinking water system, and the sanitation of the entire building plus the fire prevention safety ensuring that the building meets fire codes.
