• Purchase, plan, organize and evaluate all stock materials for the company by reviewing what products are needed from the stock print and make sure it is accurate and up to date.
• Estimate the quantity needed based on usage and to order as required keeping up with demand, whilst at the same time keeping a close eye on expenditure.
• Evaluate the cost and quantity to order placement, payment, shipping and booking into stock.
• Ensure that the products are delivered on time and correct.
• Research alternative suppliers and products.
• Establish new foreign and domestic suppliers.
• Administering online purchasing system (PH).
• Checking all landed costs and PO’s before booking into stock.
• Studying inventory levels on a daily / weekly basis.
• Placing orders and checking shipment documentation.
• Resolve supplier or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
• Review Purchase Orders and contracts for conformance to company policy and Purchase Orders.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for materials.
