1) Preparing bill of quantities and tender prices from studying project’s drawings like plan, isometric, key plan, plan & profile, flow diagram drawings and designs.
2) Detailed study and evaluation of Specifications and Drawings. (HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Drainage)
3) Raising Queries and follow up with the client’s representative / consultant.
4) Sending enquiries and Collecting Prices from various suppliers.
5) Taking quantities of equipment and materials from drawings.
6) Review of addendums on scope of work, project specifications, procedures, revisions, Engineering standards and other references applicable to the project.
7) Preparing detailed BOQ with actual Quantity and Estimating material and labour prices for Tender.
8) Preparing Variation BOQ and claiming for approval.
9) Preparation of quotation comparison table and finalizing the unit price
10) Prepare value engineering, alternatives and proposals to be submitted to clients
